Preparation

Psilocybin Sessions

Psilocybin can heighten awareness of the subtle beauty in everyday life, turning simple textures, shapes, and natural details into vivid sensory experiences. To support this effect, sessions take place in lush outdoor gardens that feel open while still offering privacy.

In this 5-day retreat, one macrodose session serves as the central experience. Lasting around 4 to 6 hours, it is designed to encourage therapeutic depth and is paired with meditative practices and neuroscience-based techniques to help guests stay grounded in the present moment.

Integration follows the session, with time devoted to reflecting on insights and bringing them into daily life. Even with a single macrodose, the aim is to strengthen autonomy, confidence, and a renewed appreciation for the extraordinary within the ordinary.

DMT Sessions

DMT is a powerful psychedelic experience known for its intense visual, emotional, auditory, and physical effects. Each session is unique, even though some common patterns may appear. The program includes one guided DMT experience in a private setting with two trained facilitators present, lasting about 10 to 15 minutes.

For guests who join the DMT extraction class, a second DMT session is available. This option gives participants a chance to explore the compound further in a structured and professionally supported environment.

DMT has also been studied for mechanisms similar to psilocybin, along with activity at Sigma 1 receptors that may support anti inflammatory and neuroprotective effects. Many guests describe the session as a defining moment of the retreat, especially because of its intensity and precision within such a short timeframe.

Private 1-on-1 Integration Sessions

Integration helps guests document, interpret, and make meaning from psychedelic experiences so they can be carried forward rather than fade like a dream. At Eleusinia, this process is approached through psychological, spiritual, and somatic lenses.

After the macrodose experience, practitioners meet one-on-one with each guest to support reflection, recall, and personal insight. These sessions can also be recorded for later review or to share with a therapist back home. Guests seeking a spiritual perspective may also meet individually with the curandera, while group meditation coaching adds somatic awareness and mindfulness to the process.

Psychedelic-Enhanced Meditation

Research using fMRI has shown similarities between meditation and psychedelic states. Building on that connection, breathwork and meditation are used after the journey to help guests reconnect with those states and extend their benefits.

These post-macrodose classes are designed to help guests rediscover psychedelic sensations through focused practice, while also supporting the creation of a lasting personal routine without psychedelics.

DMT Extraction Class

This optional $275 class teaches the technique for extracting DMT from legal, easy-to-source plant materials. It is especially relevant for visitors interested in the long-term neuroprotective potential of DMT.

24-Hour On-Site Medical Support

A fully integrated medical team is available on-site 24 hours a day throughout the retreat to support comfort and security. Retreats host approximately 10 participants, with a maximum of 14, ensuring an intimate environment with individualized care.

6-Month Post Retreat Support Network

Guests receive 6 months of free access to a private online community for past participants, where they can share experiences, progress, and stay connected with both the team and fellow guests.

Daily Schedule

Day 1: Arrival & Orientation

Guests arrive in the afternoon at the private mountain estate via private shuttle from Mexico City. After a welcome snack of tamales and champurrado, they complete intake meetings with the medical team, followed by a neuroscience-based psychedelic presentation and a welcoming session with the curandera.

Day 2: Psilocybin Macrodose

The day begins with orientation, breathwork, and meditation before a six-hour outdoor psilocybin session in private garden spaces. Often described as a mental marathon, it can be physically and emotionally demanding, so the rest of the day is reserved for quiet recovery.

Day 3: DMT Session, Massage, and Integration

This day opens with an educational DMT orientation and practical coaching on inhalation and vaporization. Guests then follow individualized schedules that include a private DMT session, integration work, a massage, and a group meditation class.

Day 4: Excursions, Minidose, & Closing Ceremony

Guests may spend the morning on local excursions or stay onsite for a second DMT session if they are participating in the extraction class. In the afternoon, a psilocybin minidose is paired with breathwork and meditation, and the evening ends with a cacao ceremony after dinner.

Day 5: Departure

Breakfast is served at 8:00 AM, followed by a 9:30 AM shuttle departure back to Mexico City.
