




This journey combines mountain passes, desert landscapes, historic kasbahs, and time in vibrant Marrakesh for a memorable Moroccan adventure. Traveling from Casablanca to Marrakesh via the desert, you’ll cross the High Atlas Mountains, visit iconic landmarks such as Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate, and continue through the Dades Valley, Todra Gorges, and the golden dunes of Merzouga. The experience also includes a camel ride, a night in a desert camp, and scenic off-road routes through remote desert regions before returning to Marrakesh.
1 Day 1: Arrival at Marrakesh - Transfer to the hotel
Upon arrival, our driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to unwind and discover the lively Jemaa el Fnaa square and the surrounding souks at your own pace.
2 Day 2: Full day to visit Marrakesh
Today you may choose an optional private guided tour of Marrakesh with an official guide. Highlights include the Koutoubia Mosque, the Medina and its souks, as well as some of the city’s most treasured sites: the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the Majorelle Gardens. Overnight in a riad in the Medina.
3 Day 3: Marrakesh - Ait Benhaddou Kasbah - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley
After breakfast in your riad, depart toward Dades Valley via Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, reaching an altitude of 2,260 meters while enjoying sweeping views of the High Atlas Mountains and Berber villages. After lunch, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou Kasbah. Before arriving in Ouarzazate, stop at Atlas Studios, known as one of the largest film studios in the world and featured in productions such as Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones, The Mummy, and Gladiator. Continue through the Valley of Roses in Kelaat M'Gouna before reaching Dades Valley for the night.
4 Day 4: Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, travel toward the Erg Chebbi dunes. Along the way, pass Berber villages and cross Todra Gorges, Tinghir, Tinjdad, and Erfoud, where the first signs of the Tafilalet oasis appear. Continue to the Merzouga desert, where you will have time to relax before setting out on a camel ride across the dunes. This is an ideal moment to capture the sunset and sunrise. Spend the night in a desert camp in the middle of the Sahara, accompanied by drumming music.
5 Day 5: Merzouga Desert - Khamlia - Ouzina Dunes - M'harech Gorge
After sunrise and breakfast at the camp, return by camel to Merzouga. The route continues with a visit to Khamlia, a distinctive Gnawa village, before crossing varied desert scenery. Travel through sand rivers, isolated villages, nomad camps, and dry lakes until reaching the Tafraout desert, a remarkable area accessible only by off-road tracks. Overnight.
6 Day 6: M'harech Gorges - Alnif - Tazarin - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate
Today’s route follows desert trails past the villages of Tafraout Ait Atta and Oumjrane. After lunch on the road, continue toward Tazarin and the Draa Valley before arriving in Ouarzazate. Overnight in a hotel or riad with dinner and breakfast.
7 Day 7: Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakesh
After breakfast, depart for Marrakesh by crossing the High Atlas Mountains once more. Enjoy scenic stops along the way and lunch before arriving in Marrakesh. Overnight, end of the 7 days desert tour.
