Your journey begins in the Bedouin Village.
We meet you between 8:00 and 10:30 am at the Desert Rest House or Visitor Center in Wadi Rum, depending on your arrival point.
From there, enjoy an unforgettable 4x4 desert adventure through Wadi Rum, one of Jordan’s most iconic landscapes. Known as the “Valley of the Moon,” this protected area combines dramatic natural beauty with a rich historical background, from Lawrence of Arabia to the Nabateans, as well as the living traditions of the Bedouin people.

Morning camel walk and ride, 3 hours.
After breakfast, begin your Bedouin adventure with a peaceful 3-hour camel journey through canyons, open valleys, and rock formations shaped by wind and time. Let the gentle motion of the camel settle your mind as you breathe in the dry, fragrant desert air.
Midday lunch with Bedouin hosts.
Pause in the shade of an acacia tree or beneath a red stone overhang.
Evening camel ride and walk, 3 hours.
As the light softens and the desert turns golden, continue with another 3-hour trek, walking or riding alongside your camel.
Dinner and sleeping in a Bedouin camp.

No, you can pay the Wadi Rum entrance fee at the Visitor Center (7 JOD per person).
We recommend comfortable walking or trekking shoes, light breathable clothing, long clothing for riding and trekking as well as for cultural reasons, warm layers for evenings especially in winter and spring, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, a reusable water bottle, a power bank for charging devices at the camp, and an adapter. Jordan uses Type C, D, F, and G plugs.
The best time to visit Jordan is March to May and September to November, when the weather is mild and ideal for sightseeing.
Summer, from June to August, is very hot, especially in Petra and Wadi Rum.
Winter, from December to February, brings cooler temperatures and cold desert nights.
Yes, this tour is suitable for families, couples, and seniors. However, the 2-day camel tour involves a fair amount of walking. Please let us know in advance if you prefer a slower pace or need special arrangements.
In Wadi Rum, you will stay in authentic camps in the protected area with a shared bathroom. Bed linen and towels, like in a hotel, are available.
Yes. Jordan is considered one of the safest countries in the Middle East and is very welcoming to visitors. Tourist areas such as Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea are well organized and secure.
Jordan is relatively liberal, but modest clothing is recommended: light long pants or skirts, T-shirts or tops that cover the shoulders, and swimwear is acceptable at the Dead Sea and hotel pools.
