Maestra Jazmin leads the Psilocybin Mushroom ceremonies. A Mazatec medicine woman from Huautla de Jiménez, Oaxaca—the town of María Sabina—she carries forward the lineage of her mother, Abuela Julieta Casimiro, a respected member of the Council of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers. After her mother’s passing, Maestra Jazmin inherited both her knowledge and the sacred responsibility of healing in her community. Raised from childhood in the world of niños santos, she learned through direct participation in sacred rituals and has since developed a deeply grounded ability to hold powerful ceremonial space. Her work honors traditional Mazatec vigils and preserves the practices brought to global attention by María Sabina in the 1960s.
Marakame Juan guides the Peyote tradition. A respected Wirrarika healer from San Andrés Cohamiata in the mountains of Jalisco, he was chosen early in life to walk the spiritual path of Hikuri. Don Juan has devoted his life to the medicine of the Wirrarika people, serving as a bridge between ancestral wisdom and those seeking healing and guidance. Recognized by both his community and the Mexican government as a Hikuri Medicine Carrier, he continues to honor the sacred pilgrimage to Wirikuta each year, renewing his connection to Mother Earth through prayer, ceremony, and offerings.
