Financial barriers? Apply for our scholarship
Full scholarships are available for passionate yogis experiencing financial hardship. This is ideal for those ready to deepen their practice and share it through teaching. Applications for 2026 open in June, with early access available below.
What can you expect?
Over one month, you will immerse yourself in the ancient arts of āsana, meditation, and philosophy. Each day begins with a one-hour prānāyāama and meditation practice, followed by a two-hour sadhana session with āsana practice. The rest of the day is dedicated to learning from teachers who are masters in their fields, covering topics such as āsana, philosophy, public speaking, and creating the life you want for yourself. There is also room for enjoyment, with evening sessions and group activities designed to leave you smiling and feeling deeply connected.
Where is the training held?
The training takes place at Radiantly Alive Yoga Studio in Ubud, Bali. Located in the center of town, it is close to restaurants, shops, and everything a yogi could wish for.
Will I have free time?
Yes, though since this is a 300-hour training with a lot to cover, free time will be limited. You will have time off each week, and meal times and breaks are yours to enjoy.
What certification will I receive?
You will receive a 300-hour Certificate of Completion from Radiantly Alive. Radiantly Alive is a fully accredited Yoga Alliance Yoga School, and this certificate may be used to apply for Yoga Alliance certification after the training.
What is the weather like in Bali?
Bali sits about 8 degrees south of the equator, so you can expect a tropical climate that is warm and humid throughout the year. The two main seasons are Dry Season, from April to October, and Rainy Season, from November to March. Temperatures are generally 27–31°C (77–88°F).
What kind of food is available?
Ubud offers an exceptional food scene. Whether you eat omnivore, vegetarian, vegan, or raw, the town caters to every preference.
What should I bring?
While there will be time for rest and integration, the training can be an intense experience, so we recommend bringing what you need with you. If you forget anything, you can find it in Ubud. Please also pack a white outfit for one special evening event: for women, it should be below knee length and cover the shoulders; for men and women, it should cover the shoulders. Suggested items include your favorite yoga mat, comfortable yoga clothes, swimsuit and sunscreen, comfortable footwear, toiletries including mosquito repellent, any medication or treatments you may need, a notebook or journal with a pen, an electric adapter with two round pins, 220 volts, and a refillable water bottle.
What is included in the cost?
Tuition and manual; full access to all cultural experiences within the training; access to the RA Alumni Network; ongoing post-training support; a lifelong 10% alumni discount on yoga classes, workshops, and therapies at Radiantly Alive; and unlimited access to all Radiantly Alive yoga classes one week before, during, and after the training.
Do I need a visa for Bali?
To enter Indonesia, your passport must have at least 18 months of validity remaining from your expected departure date from Bali. Please review the visa requirements for your own country well in advance and confirm them again closer to departure, as immigration rules in Indonesia can change suddenly. All international visitors must have a valid visa or obtain a Visa on Arrival, hold a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival, and provide proof of a return flight or onward ticket out of Indonesia.
Do I need travel insurance?
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover medical treatment, repatriation, damage, theft, or loss of personal belongings, as well as recovery of course fees and booked flights in the event of cancellation or early departure.
What about medical care?
For minor illnesses or injuries, there are medical clinics in the Ubud area and several international clinics closer to the airport. These clinics typically do not accept insurance directly, although reimbursement may be possible through your provider. In more serious emergencies, patients are evacuated to Singapore, so it is advisable to confirm that your medical plan includes this coverage. Important warning: do not bring any drugs or narcotics into Indonesia, even if they are considered mild elsewhere, as the penalties are extremely severe.
How experienced do I need to be to attend?
We recommend at least one year of yoga practice, but there are no specific asana or fitness requirements.
