This advanced training is intended for students who are ready to explore yoga from multiple angles while building a practical foundation they can carry forward after graduation. The school recommends completing a 200 hour yoga teacher training first, as a solid grasp of the basics is essential for fully engaging with the advanced practice and theory included here. Upon completion, participants receive Yoga Alliance USA certification, which supports teaching opportunities worldwide.
Alongside the main curriculum, students may also join Level 1, 2, and 3 Sound Healing Courses at an additional cost, scheduled during free time in the day. The course begins on the 1st of every month at 5:00 PM with opening ceremonies and orientation, ends on the 27th of every month at 7:00 PM, and departure is on the 28th before 12:00 PM. For the opening and graduation ceremonies, students are asked to bring one or two sets of white clothing.
The syllabus includes a broad range of asana practice, from standing, seated, balancing, twisting, backbending, and inverted postures to finishing sequences and teaching practice. Students also study meditation techniques such as Anapana, Yoga Nidra, Vipassana, mantra meditation, walking meditation, and dynamic moving meditation, as well as chakra-focused sound healing and spiritual practices.
Breathwork training spans four weeks, covering advanced pranayama practices, variations and experiments, awakening nadis and chakras, and teaching mastery. Topics include the physiology of prana, the flow of breath through the body, and intermediate to advanced techniques such as Nadi Shodhana, Bhastrika, Kapalbhati, Bhramari, Ujjayi, Sitali, Sitkari, Murcha, Surya Bhedi, and Chandra Bhedi.
The yoga philosophy, anatomy, and Ayurveda sections explore the history and meaning of yoga, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the skeletal, muscular, respiratory, circulatory, and digestive systems, as well as the principles of Ayurveda, doshas, agni, ama, diet, and therapeutic applications for common conditions. Shatkarma, bandhas, and mudras are also part of the training, along with assignments, revision, and both written and practical assessments.
The daily schedule begins at 5:30 AM and includes pranayama and shatkarma, Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, philosophy, anatomy, alignment and teaching methodology, yoga therapy and Ayurveda, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, meditation, meals, and an early lights-off at 9:00 PM.
Not included are private accommodation at an extra $1000 USD, airfare, personal expenses, medical expenses, transportation, and extra classes. A booking deposit of $500 USD is required to reserve a place. The deposit is refundable only if cancellation is made more than 15 days before the start date, minus 10% service charge plus bank charge and government tax. If cancellation happens within 15 days of the start date, the deposit is not refundable, though rescheduling is accepted. Cancellations after joining are accepted, but course fees are not refunded.
Students are expected to follow strict course guidelines, maintain discipline, attend all scheduled activities, and avoid prohibited items and habits such as meat, fish, eggs, black tea, coffee, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and nudity during the training. Smoking and alcohol are not allowed on the premises, and punctual attendance is required throughout the program.
