




Spending 28 days in Rishikesh offers a rare opportunity to deepen your practice in one of the world’s most revered yoga destinations. Surrounded by the Ganges and the Himalayas of the Garhwal region, it provides an inspiring setting for serious study and personal growth.
This intermediate-to-advanced 300-hour yoga teacher training is designed for students who have already completed a 200-hour course and feel ready for the next step. Offered by Maa Shakti Yog, a registered yoga school in Rishikesh, the program brings together traditional Indian yoga knowledge in a structured and accessible format. The training is conducted mainly in English, with selected Sanskrit pronunciation and terminology introduced throughout the course.
The curriculum takes a multi-style approach and focuses on the foundations and deeper dimensions of yoga. Students explore Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Iyengar-inspired practices while strengthening their teaching skills, confidence, and personal discipline. The program includes:

The school emphasizes a simple, supportive teaching style so students can learn with clarity and stay motivated throughout the training. The daily schedule is full and balanced, with morning pranayama and meditation, Hatha yoga, alignment, teaching methodology, Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, anatomy, and philosophy. Students also receive time for breakfast, lunch, dinner, breaks, and self-study.
Accommodation is clean and practical, with single or double sharing, attached washrooms, hot water, free Wi-Fi, cupboard, fan, chair and table, tea kettle, and regular housekeeping. During the training, students stay in a spacious room with an ensuite bathroom, a working desk, a sofa, and a view of the pool. Meals are an important part of the program and reflect a yogic lifestyle. The training includes free pickup from Dehradun Airport, accommodation with attached washroom, study materials, 8 hours of classes per day, free Wi-Fi, 24/7 power supply, and hot, cold, and normal filtered water. Upon completion, students receive a Yoga Alliance, USA certificate and may be eligible for RYT-300 recognition.
Outdoor excursions add another dimension to the experience, with visits to Kunjapuri Temple for sunrise and Sun Salutation Trek, waterfall treks at Neer Gaddu and Patna, Vashistha Cave, the Ganga River, Parmarth Niketan Ashram for Ganga Puja, the Beatles Ashram, live Ganga Aarti, and yoga on the beach.
