300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh – 13 Aug - 11 Sep 2026

This advanced, fully residential program is designed for dedicated yoga practitioners who are ready to refine their practice and teaching at a higher level. Held at Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh, India, the training offers an immersive environment shaped by more than 20 years of experience in yoga education. Surrounded by majestic mountains, birdsong, and the sounds of nature, students are supported in a setting that encourages focus, discipline, and depth.

As a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS 300), the ashram offers this training only to yoga teachers who have already completed a 200-hour teacher training from a Yoga Alliance registered school and received certification. The course is also conducted in English, so reasonable language proficiency is expected for active participation and learning.

With successful completion, students receive an internationally recognized certification that makes them eligible to register as RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, provided the additional registration requirements are met. A special graduation ceremony marks the completion of the course and the awarding of the certificate.

Certification & Assessment

To complete the training successfully, students must attend the required classes and pass all assessments, including the final evaluation. After completion, a graduation ceremony is held, and the 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate is awarded. Graduates may then apply to register as RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, subject to their registration process and the requirement of at least 100 hours of actual yoga teaching.

Eligibility and Skill Level

This course welcomes committed practitioners who are ready to advance their study and teaching skills. It is suitable for beginner and intermediate practitioners, provided they meet the following requirements:

• Completion of a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training from a Yoga Alliance registered school
• English proficiency sufficient for learning and participation in class
• Readiness to build on the foundation of previous yoga training
