The 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh, India is an advanced, fully residential program designed for dedicated yoga teachers who want to take their practice and teaching to a deeper level. As a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School (RYS 300), Abhayaranya Yoga Ashrama offers this course only to students who have already completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training from a Yoga Alliance registered school and received certification. With more than 20 years of experience in yoga education, the ashram provides a traditional learning atmosphere supported by mountain views, birdsong, and the quiet presence of nature.

Successful graduates receive an internationally recognized certification, making them eligible to apply for RYT 500 registration with Yoga Alliance. This training is intended as an important step forward for those pursuing a professional path in yoga teaching.

Certification & Assessment

To complete the course successfully, students must attend the required classes and pass all evaluations, including the final assessment. A graduation ceremony marks this achievement, and participants receive their 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification.

After certification, graduates may register as RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance upon payment of the registration fee. Please note that approval for RYT 500 status also requires at least 100 hours of actual yoga teaching.

Eligibility and Skill Level

Skill Level: This course is designed for Beginner and Intermediate practitioners.

Eligibility Requirements:

• You must have completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training from a Yoga Alliance registered school.
• This 300-Hour YTTC in Rishikesh builds on your 200-hour foundation and expands your practice and understanding.
• Since all classes are taught in English, reasonable language proficiency is required for active participation.

The training is led by a team of highly qualified yoga teachers, Ayurveda doctors, and therapists, supported by more than 20 years of teaching experience. Each batch includes 3 to 4 experienced instructors who guide students through asanas as well as the other seven limbs of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra.

Your learning is also shaped by an E-RYT certified lead trainer with extensive experience in yoga philosophy and practice, ensuring a holistic and immersive training experience.

Accommodation and Meals

The ashram provides clean, comfortable rooms with essential amenities so you can rest well and stay focused throughout the training. Whether you choose a private or shared room, the environment is designed to support simplicity, peace, and balance.

Daily sattvic meals are freshly prepared to nourish the body and support your practice. These vegetarian meals follow Ayurvedic principles and are sourced seasonally.
