Sampoorna Yoga is set on the pristine beaches of Goa, India, and is an internationally recognized Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher training school. Since its founding in 2008, the school has welcomed more than 10,000 aspiring teachers into its signature 300-hour training, built on a holistic approach that explores yoga beyond physical practice and into the full spectrum of its eight limbs.
This three-week intensive 300-hour Vinyasa Flow Advanced Yoga Teacher Training is designed for practitioners who already hold a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate in any style. The course is centered on advanced Vinyasa Flow practice, sequencing, and the technical structure of a class, while also deepening understanding of asanas, alignment, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy.
Students are encouraged to bring creativity, intuition, and personal experience into their teaching. The training offers regular opportunities to teach, beginning with one-on-one guidance and progressing to larger groups, alongside hands-on adjustments, class planning, and support in developing a clear personal teaching voice.
Course highlights include:
The philosophy curriculum is rooted mainly in Hatha yoga and includes the Bhagavad Gita, the origins and history of yoga, the eight limbs, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the three major nadis, the seven chakras, shatkarmas, mudras, bandhas, and yoga as a lifestyle. The anatomy module places strong emphasis on the skeletal system, muscular system, connective tissue, nervous system, and the mechanics of major joints, with special attention to the foot, knee, hips, spine, and shoulders.
After successful completion, graduates receive a 300-hour yoga teacher training certification and may register as RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance. Registration is optional. If a student has completed a 200-hour training that is not Yoga Alliance recognized, they will still receive the 300-hour certificate, though they will not be eligible for Yoga Alliance registration.
