This 300-hour teacher training is designed for intermediate and advanced practitioners who want to strengthen their teaching and explore yoga in greater depth. Building on the foundation of a 200-hour TTC, this advanced course expands your understanding, refines your practice, and supports the development of a more confident, inspired teaching style. It offers advanced knowledge and practical skills for teaching yoga with clarity and depth.
Study the history and origins of yoga, along with an introduction to the Yoga Sutras and Yog Pradipika. The curriculum also includes an overview of six Indian philosophical systems, as well as yogic ideas, concepts, and hypotheses drawn from ancient scriptures.
Gain a broad understanding of the human organism and its systems, with particular focus on the nervous, musculoskeletal, and respiratory systems. The training also covers immunity, practices that support its functioning, and the benefits and contraindications of yoga practices.
Practice Hatha yoga postures with alignment, adjustments, and modifications. Sessions include Sanskrit terminology, the benefits and contraindications of asana, the use of breath and specific bodily gestures, and the study and practice of different Sun Salutation styles and flow sequences.
Learn breathing techniques that support respiratory function and, in turn, the wider body systems. Topics include natural breath, slow rhythmic diaphragmatic breathing, breath regulation for stress-related concerns, and the importance of kumbhak, or breath retention, with its applications.
Work with mantras and their voice modulations as a pathway toward transformation and self-realization, supporting the awakening of hidden aspects of the human organism.
Develop the ability to observe yourself on different levels, both through guided and self-practice. You will also learn how to guide students, explore the connection between breath and meditative states, and study yoga nidra from beginner to advanced levels.
Focus on the ethical guidelines of a yoga teacher, lesson planning, sequencing, class management, observation, demonstrations, assistance, corrections, and alignment concepts at every possible level.
Please note: discipline is an essential part of the evaluation and certification process. Attendance at all classes is mandatory. If an emergency requires leave, students must consult the relevant faculty before class. Any absence without permission will be treated as indiscipline and may affect both studentship and certification.
