3-Week Samá (Masterplant Diet)

Before moving ahead, please read all of the information on the Samá program page carefully.

This program is designed for students who are new to samá, or masterplant diet, as well as for those who already have experience with dieting. Both new and returning students of Yoxán Manuela or Yoxán Robi are welcome to join.

Your first week on the land begins with a traditional payanti, a cleansing process for both the physical and energetic bodies. After that, you will begin a 2-week diet with one of three special teacher plants: Noyá Ráo (Palo Volador), Sémein (Bobinsana), or Kéne Wáste (Piri Piri Para Diseño). During your stay, traditional ceremonies will take place 3 times per week.

Registration and assessment start once you complete the form. After submission, you will receive an email confirmation with the next steps, including a medical questionnaire and an introductory call. These steps must be completed within 7 days. If they are not, your request will be canceled and you will need to re-request your dates for another time. Please apply only if you are sure you can attend during these dates.

Tambo Estudiante

Each tambo is a private sanctuary designed to meet your basic needs. It features a traditional leaf roof, high-quality hardwood floors and walls, mosquito screening, and a private dry double-vault composting toilet. A small bridge connects the living space to an open-air bathing platform with a shower, faucet, large basin, and small stool for floral baths and washing.

Inside you will find:

• 1 single bed with frame,
• 2 sets of 100% cotton sheets,
• 1 blanket,
• 1 mosquito net,
• 2 100% cotton towels,
• 1 hammock,
• 1 small table and chair,
• 1 emergency whistle,
• 1 traditional clay ashtray,
• drinking water,
• candles & matches,
• toilet paper,
• small hand washing sink, and
• shelves.

Please note that there is no running electricity in the tambos, or anywhere onsite. At night, you will use candlelight or your headlamp.

Price: $3,600

Payment Terms: After your introductory call and confirmation from Jakon Rate, your dates will be secured with a 50% deposit of the full exchange. The remaining 50% balance is due no later than two weeks before the start of your stay.

Guest Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than one month before the stay receive a full refund, minus banking fees. Cancellations within one month receive a transferable credit. Cancellations within two weeks due to a family or medical emergency receive either a 50% refund, minus fees, plus 50% credit, or 100% credit. Cancellations after the stay has begun are refunded only on a nightly basis, minus fees.

Supplementary Products Exclusion: Participants acknowledge that the fees listed apply only to the services and offerings described here, and do not include the cost of any plant medicines or similar supplementary products that may be provided, offered, or distributed by a commercial user or any other party in connection with those services.
