3 Week Ayahuasca Transformation

Ayahuasca ceremonies last approximately 5 to 6 hours, guided by shamans who work with Icaros, traditional songs used throughout the ceremony as a form of “spiritual surgery.” In the same way a Western doctor may use a scalpel to address physical illness, shamans use Icaros to support healing on a spiritual level, which can also lead to physical healing.

This approach reflects a higher state of consciousness and awareness, allowing shamans to work in a way that has brought undeniable results through Ayahuasca. Around the world, organizations and researchers have increasingly recognized its healing effects, and ongoing study continues to support broader acceptance within the Western community.

Included with your booking:

• Transportation to the retreat center: Pick-up from the mainstay hotel in Pucallpa and return transfer.
• Accommodation for the entire week: Single-occupancy rooms with screens, modern bathrooms, running water, electricity, and fans.
• Freshly cooked food for the full stay: A wide range of dietary needs and restrictions can be accommodated. Please share this information before arrival.
• Piñon Negro and Hierba pre-Ayahuasca purgative ceremony: Used to cleanse the mind, body, and spirit of negative energies and blockages.
• Traditional Ayahuasca ceremonies: 12 ceremonies with personal Icaros in every ceremony.
• Group shares and intention re-fresh: 12 shaman-led group shares offering guidance, counsel, and clarity.
• Floral baths: Provided upon the shaman’s recommendation to help release lower vibrational energies and open the senses.
• 1-on-1 pre-trip consult with staff.
• 1-on-1 consult with the lead shaman and staff before the first ceremony.
• On-demand 1-on-1 post-journey session if recommended with a staff member or shaman.

Our Ayahuasca is prepared in the most traditional way, using only ayahuasca liana and chacruna leaves. The chacruna leaves contain DMT, the substance secreted by the brain that gives rise to visions during the experience. The ayahuasca liana may bring on dizziness or unsteadiness, supporting the cleansing process as it works on the body, mind, and soul.

Planned activities

• Occasionally, a traditional Shipibo immersion day, where you will learn customary traditions directly from the Shipibo people.
• Occasionally, a custom Shipibo market day, where you can purchase local goods from local artists.

To get the most from your experience, we ask that you arrive with an open mind—not only toward Ayahuasca, but also toward life in a Peruvian indigenous village, where daily living is very different, the comforts are fewer, and the smiles are many.

Our center is intentionally small and intimate, with space for up to 8 people. This creates the ideal setting for personalized Ayahuasca ceremonies focused on genuine healing and connection.

Each tambo/room includes a modern bathroom and shower, so you can feel comfortable before, after, and during ceremony, as well as throughout your stay. The center has clean, non-potable running water and electricity 24 hours a day, and purified drinking water jugs are provided in each room.

You do not need to bring hygiene items beyond your toothbrush, toothpaste, or your usual hair and body products. Towels, hand soap, toilet paper, and other essentials are provided.

What to bring

• Summer clothes, plus long pants and long sleeves for mosquito protection at night.
• A jacket or raincoat, as it can get cold at times.
• Comfortable ceremony clothing that is loose and light in color, preferably white.
• Comfortable shoes; closed, waterproof shoes are best if you plan to walk in the jungle.
• A notebook and pens to record insights and lessons.
• A book if you enjoy reading and want something aligned with the process or light.
• Your own first aid kit if needed, though basic supplies are available.
• A hat or cap, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent for hot days or excursions.
• A flashlight or headlamp with a red light setting for ceremony, ideally a small red-only flashlight.
• A reusable water bottle.
