Set off on a 3-day, 2-night journey into Wadi Rum, a place often described as Jordan's most magical desert. With its deep red sands, towering rock formations, and endless horizons, it's no wonder this landscape has inspired explorers, filmmakers, and travelers from all over the world.
What makes this trip truly special, though, is experiencing it alongside local Bedouin guides who grew up among these mountains and know every canyon, story, and tradition by heart.
Your adventure begins in the morning. If you're arriving by car or taxi, we'll meet you at the Wadi Rum Rest House. Arriving by JETT Bus? No worries— we'll welcome you at the Visitor Center and take care of all transfers during your stay.
Your first day brings a 4–6 hour trek through the protected area of Wadi Rum, often called the red desert for its striking colors at sunrise and sunset. Depending on the route, you might wander through the dramatic silence of Burrah Canyon, where the walls rise high and the light paints everything in shades of gold. Or you may make your way toward Lawrence's House, a historic viewpoint linked to T.E. Lawrence, offering sweeping panoramas that feel straight out of an old epic. Your Bedouin guide will prepare tea over a small fire, share stories, and help you see the desert through the eyes of someone who calls it home.
The following day, a full-day 4x4 desert tour takes you to the region's most beloved spots. You'll visit natural arches carved by wind and time, such as Umm Fruth Rock Bridge, and wander through narrow canyons like Khazali or Abu Khashaba, filled with ancient inscriptions. You'll stop at panoramic viewpoints, slide down soft red dunes, and enjoy a relaxed Bedouin-style lunch in the shade of the mountains. Each stop reveals a different mood of Wadi Rum — from wide-open valleys to intimate hidden corners.
Please note that days and excursion might swip :-)
What ties everything together is the Bedouin way of life. Hospitality is at the core of their culture, which you'll feel from the moment you share your first cup of tea. Bedouins have lived in this desert for generations, moving with the seasons, raising goats and camels, and holding onto traditions that go back centuries. Around the campfire in the evening, you'll hear stories, music, and maybe even a bit of humor — Bedouins love to laugh. Their connection to nature is deep, and spending time with them offers a genuine window into their world.
Your nights are spent in an authentic Bedouin eco-camp, set among the mountains and designed to keep things simple, cozy, and respectful of the environment. The shared bathrooms are tidy, the meals are homemade, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. After dinner, the stars take over — not just a sprinkle, but an entire sky full of them.
All meals, water, tea, and transfers are included, leaving you free to simply enjoy each moment. Over these three days, you experience not just the beauty of Wadi Rum, but the culture and generosity of the people who make this desert feel alive.
Walk & Hike (4 - 6 Hours with breaks)
After a delicious breakfast you start your Bedouin Adventure with a highlight - a 4–6 hour guided trek through the desert—an immersive walk through timeless scenery, such as the peaceful stretch of Burrah Canyon or the historic spot known as Lawrence's House. Along the way, your guides will brew fresh tea, prepare meals, and help you slow down to take in the silence and beauty of the red desert.
Pause beneath the shade of an acacia tree or a red stone overhang, where your Bedouin guides prepare a traditional lunch over hot coals. Sip sweet mint tea, listen to stories of nomadic life, and rest in the sacred silence of the desert.
This is a time for reflection, connection, and awe as the landscape shifts with the fading sun.
