Who is our YTT for?
The Mindful Bali 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is ideal if you are:
What You're Learning
This holistic 200-hour training weaves together asana, anatomy, philosophy, meditation, and pranayama, helping you understand yoga far beyond the poses. You will build practical teaching skills through sequencing, cueing, adjustments, and space-holding, with hands-on practice and personalized feedback in an intimate setting. Grounded in the Yoga Sutras and authentic philosophy, the curriculum is designed to support transformation, confidence, and teaching readiness anywhere in the world.
Module 1: Root Chakra (Week 1)
In this opening module, you will study the history of yoga, including the origins of Sanskrit, the roots of yoga, and its branches. You will also explore the subtle body through the koshas, pranayama, the chakras, and the philosophy of the eight limbs. The module includes a workshop on foundational standing poses, plus coaching skills to support your relationships with students and clients. You will also complete the three-day “How to Meditate” course and learn the “1 Giant Mind” mantra meditation tradition.
Module 2: Sacral Chakra (Week 1)
This module explores the philosophy of yoga in greater depth and includes a posture workshop on Surya Namaskar, or vinyasa flow. Each participant will complete eight hours of asana, meditation, and pranayama practice, and practice teach one sequence.
Module 3: Solar Plexus (Week 1)
Here, the focus turns to personal power. You will study the ethics of yoga, spend time with mudras, bandhas, and meditation, and take part in a workshop on core-strengthening poses. Each participant will complete ten hours of practice and one practicum teaching experience.
Module 4: Heart Chakra (Week 2)
This module introduces pranayama techniques and examines backbending and heart-opening poses in detail. You will also study anatomy and how yoga supports health, sensation and pain, as well as trauma and PTSD. The training includes ways to adapt your teaching for a wide range of needs, from prenatal yoga to trauma-informed yoga.
Module 5: Throat Chakra (Week 2)
Communication and integrity are at the center of this module. You will explore teaching and assisting forward fold poses, and study the musculoskeletal system, including fascia, tissue, muscles, joints, the spine, and the core. You will also learn how to teach Mindful Let Go classes, inspired by yin and restorative styles.
Module 6: Third Eye Chakra (Week 3)
This section covers physiology, including the vagus nerve, the stress and relaxation response, respiration, and anatomy. You will workshop twisting poses and learn the foundations of sequencing yoga classes, including class elements, pose selection, arrangement, and class structure. You will also learn how to teach Yin Yoga classes.
Online Work
For the 2026 training, online anatomy lessons and online yoga practices are recommended before arrival so you come prepared with an established practice. These videos may also be completed during free time in Bali, and they are required for course completion.
Module 7: Crown Chakra (Week 3)
In the final module, you will cover student safety, adaptations for different student types, and teaching methodology. You will also study the business of yoga, including marketing, reaching your potential as a teacher, and building revenue streams. Your training concludes with a final class taught to a group on graduation day, along with a final exam.
