This 8-month training, followed by 2 months of mentorship, is designed to support both deep inner transformation and the development of confident, capable yoga teachers. Rooted in the Paramanand curriculum, the course combines traditional Hatha Yoga with practical teaching methodology, creating a balanced path of study and embodied experience.
Throughout the program, you will be guided through an authentic yogic framework that honors classical tradition while preparing you to teach in diverse modern settings. The emphasis is not only on technique, but also on becoming a grounded practitioner and an authentic guide in the complete science of yoga.
Dr. Omanand Guruji is a respected yogi and scholar with more than 46 years of continuous spiritual practice and teaching. As a chief disciple in the Paramanand lineage, he carries forward a living tradition of yogic wisdom, meditation, and Sanskrit scholarship. He has guided students from over 90 countries, teaches in six languages, and has authored around 65 books on yoga, meditation, chakras, tantra, and Shakti work.
Emilie Ananya Ananda brings over a decade of experience in practicing, studying, and teaching yoga. Certified in Hatha Yoga and advanced yoga therapy, she is also a Pranayama and breathwork therapist. Alongside her yoga background, she is an anthropologist, public health specialist, and holistic nutritionist, with 14 years of experience in humanitarian aid. As founder of Holon Yoga in Crete, she creates a space for deep practice, self-inquiry, and healing.
Can beginners join?
Yes. Many dedicated students begin with no prior yoga experience. What matters most is sincere interest and a willingness to learn.
Is this only for future teachers?
No. You are welcome even if you simply want to deepen your understanding, strengthen your practice, and explore yoga more fully.
Can I attend online?
The training is primarily in person, though some sessions may be joined online on a case-by-case basis. A minimum of 180 live contact hours is required for certification.
What style is taught?
The course is based on traditional Hatha Yoga from the Paramanand lineage, including asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, and yogic lifestyle principles.
What is included in the investment?
The training includes 208+ hours of instruction, all materials, joint certification, and 2 months of group mentorship after graduation.
What is not included?
Yoga Alliance registration fees, meals, and accommodation in Crete.
