Traditional Hatha / 30 Days / Yoga Alliance Certification
Designed as an immersive one-month experience, this 200-hour yoga teacher training in India is also known as a yoga instructor course. It is well suited for dedicated yoga students who want to deepen their practice through the discipline of traditional Hatha yoga in a शांत, supportive setting. The curriculum is divided into two equal parts: one part develops future teachers through detailed asana practice and teaching methodology, while the other strengthens pranayama, meditation, and a practical understanding of yogic philosophy and lifestyle. The result is a program that supports not only aspiring teachers, but also anyone seeking a meaningful shift in body awareness, breath awareness, and overall direction in life.
Style of Yoga?
This training focuses on traditional Hatha yoga, with an emphasis on learning both how to practice and how to teach with clarity and precision. Rather than speed or flow, the approach centers on spinal anatomy, stability, and proper alignment. Traditional Hatha yoga also works with chakras and the subtle energy body, allowing the asana practice to be adapted to individual physical and mental needs instead of following a generic sequence.
Classes always include pranayama and yoga nidra. A key difference from many modern styles is the attention given to sthira, or stability, along with alignment across the 8 major joints and breath-led endurance in the postures. Faster flows that ignore spinal and joint anatomy are discouraged in favor of a more mindful, sustainable practice.
This 200-hour training provides the essential tools and knowledge to begin sharing yoga in a professional way, both physically and intellectually. Even for those who do not wish to teach, the practices and philosophy are intended to support detoxification, deepen understanding, and encourage a peaceful, balanced way of living in today’s demanding world.

Yoga Alliance Certification
Throughout the course, students are assessed across five modules: self-practice, teaching skills, anatomy and ayurveda, philosophy and psychology of yoga, and spirituality of yoga. Morning practice supports personal progress and ensures each trainee can confidently demonstrate the postures taught in the course. Teaching skills are evaluated through 12 small-group practice sessions under teacher supervision, and each trainee must teach at least two yoga classes. There are also two written exams, one in anatomy and one in philosophy. If needed, individual support is available to help students fully understand the key concepts.
AyurYoga Eco-Ashram has been accredited as an RYS 200 + RYS 300 Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance USA since 2010. The certificate awarded at the end of this 200-hour course is valid for registration as an RYT with Yoga Alliance. In the final week, students are guided through teacher registration, insurance, taxation, the medical release form, and the business side of teaching yoga.
