What You Will Study
Level 01
Begin with a focused study of Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga, including alignment and adjustment techniques for safe and accurate practice. Explore the history of yoga, discuss the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and participate in active meditation sessions that expand awareness. You will also practice a range of pranayama techniques and learn the calming principles of Yoga Nidra.
Level 02
Deepen your learning through Shatkarma cleansing practices, an introduction to Basic Ayurveda, and the use of mantra and mudra yoga to encourage positive energy. Anatomy and physiology sessions explain the human musculoskeletal system, while interactive teaching classes help you develop the skills to lead a yoga session effectively. The program also includes laughter yoga, dance yoga, and excursions to nearby places.

Hatha Yoga – Primary Series: Surya Namaskar with mantra awareness, Sukshma Vyama, and standing, kneeling, seated, prone, supine, and inversion series.
Asana Study: Benefits, contraindications, and a wide range of postures including foundational, balancing, twisting, forward-bending, back-bending, inversion, and restorative shapes.
Ashtanga Yoga – Primary Series: Vinyasa, the 9 Drishti, Ujjai, Bandhas, and a detailed exploration of the Primary Series.
Pranayama and Mudras: Breath awareness, nadis, Ida, Pingala, Sushmana, and seven core pranayama practices, along with Gyana, Chin, and Ashwini mudras.
Yoga Darshanam – Philosophy: The meaning of yoga, the five koshas, the four faculties of mind, the eight limbs of Patanjali, and the waking, dreaming, and deep sleep states.
Anatomy and Physiology: Skeletal, muscular, and respiratory systems, plus their relevance to yogic practice.
Meditation and Yoga Nidra: Breath awareness, mantra awareness, candle and inner light meditation, full moon meditation, and Yoga Nidra from the Satyananda tradition.
Teaching Methodology: Classroom preparation, sequencing, demonstration, verbal instruction, hands-on adjustments, and lesson planning.
Ayurvedic Curriculum
This holistic section introduces Ayurvedic principles, therapies, and self-care rituals that complement your yogic path.
Theory: Ayurveda and yoga, body constitutions, metabolic toxins, Panchakarma, the six tastes, the seven vital tissues, Agni, nutrition, and seasonal routines.
Practical Session: Facial massage techniques, Marma points, Ayurvedic cooking practices, herbal detox drinks, lower back support methods, and pulse reading basics.

Each room includes twin beds, proper lighting, a private bathroom with 24/7 hot water, a study table and chair, Wi-Fi, and a comfortable mattress. Rooms are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, and during busy seasons some accommodations may be arranged in nearby buildings within a short 2-minute walk from the main school.
