




Adishesh Yoga presents an immersive and traditional Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh for students who want to deepen their practice and step into teaching with confidence and authenticity. Set in the spiritual heart of India, this 200 Hour training blends classical yoga wisdom with a balanced modern approach, creating a meaningful and transformative learning experience.
Rooted in Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow, the course supports a steady exploration of yogic practice and lifestyle. Through daily asana practice, students work on strength, flexibility, and alignment while also cultivating awareness, discipline, mindfulness, and a deeper connection with themselves.
The curriculum includes Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow asana, pranayama and breath awareness, meditation and relaxation techniques, yogic cleansing practices (kriyas), yoga philosophy and the Patanjali Yoga Sutras, yoga anatomy and body alignment, teaching methodology and class sequencing, Sanskrit mantras and chanting, and an introduction to ayurveda and yogic lifestyle.
As the training unfolds, students learn how to design balanced and purposeful yoga sequences for different levels of practitioners. Special focus is given to alignment, breath coordination, safe practice, communication skills, and building confidence as a teacher.
Learning continues beyond the classroom through ongoing support from experienced teachers, group discussions, self-reflection, and community connection. Surrounded by like-minded students from around the world, participants grow personally and spiritually during their time in Rishikesh.
With the peaceful energy of the Himalayas and the sacred Ganga River nearby, the retreat environment offers the ideal setting to step away from daily distractions and fully immerse yourself in traditional yogic living.

Students study and practice Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, anatomy, ayurveda, mantra chanting, and teaching methodology in a practical and balanced way. Alongside postures and alignment, they develop an understanding of breath, mindfulness, energy awareness, and yogic lifestyle.
Safe practice and intelligent teaching are emphasized throughout. Students learn how to guide different levels of practitioners, understand body limitations, offer posture variations, and create clear, balanced sequences with confidence.
Daily practice and a disciplined routine help students experience the calming and transformative effects of yoga in everyday life, supporting inner balance, mental clarity, emotional stability, and stronger self-awareness beyond the physical aspect of practice.
The program includes daily Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Flow classes, pranayama, meditation and philosophy sessions, yoga anatomy and teaching methodology classes, study materials and a course manual, accommodation in a peaceful retreat environment, daily nutritious vegetarian/satvic meals, herbal tea and filtered drinking water, WiFi access at the retreat center, a course completion certificate, guidance from experienced teachers, weekend excursions and local spiritual experiences, a peaceful practice space near the Ganga River, and community support with shared learning among fellow students.
Students also receive free taxi pick-up from Dehradun Airport (DED), comfortable accommodation with attached washroom, daily healthy satvic vegetarian meals, vegan, raw, and gluten-free meal options, free high-speed Wi-Fi, ayurvedic and herbal tea served twice daily, yoga study materials and training manuals, and a Yoga Alliance certified 200 Hour TTC certificate.
Accommodation is designed for comfort, privacy, and rest, with calm rooms, natural light, and a peaceful atmosphere for meditation, study, and recovery after practice. Shared rooms are twin-sharing with attached bathroom, hot and cold water, and free Wi-Fi. Private rooms include a private bathroom, hot and cold water, and a peaceful stay.
The daily routine is structured to create balance between practice, study, rest, and self-awareness. It includes an early wake-up, kriya, asana and pranayama, tea, silent breakfast, anatomy, ayurveda, adjustment/alignment/methodology/theory, silent lunch, karma yoga, study time, rest, yoga philosophy, evening asana, tea, meditation, silent dinner, self-study, and lights off at 10:00 PM. The schedule may be adjusted slightly depending on the season, weather, special classes, or the overall flow of the training.
Upon successful completion, students receive a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate affiliated with Yoga Alliance standards, allowing them to teach internationally and continue their professional journey with confidence.
