Set in Rishikesh, Abhayaranya Yoga Ashram is a registered Yoga Alliance school offering fully residential training for students at every stage of practice. Whether you are just beginning or already have experience, this immersive course offers a शांत and supportive environment to deepen your understanding of yoga in an ashram setting.

The training includes traditional Hatha yoga, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, and philosophy, all taught in line with international standards. On successful completion, students receive a Yoga Alliance-accredited certificate, qualifying them to register as RYT 200 or RYT 500 and teach yoga worldwide.

Your residential fee is all-inclusive and covers the complete curriculum, comfortable accommodation, nourishing vegetarian meals, and all study materials.

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

This 21-day foundational program is designed to build a strong base in yoga practice and teaching. You will study yoga postures, breathwork, and meditation, along with anatomy, teaching methodology, and philosophy. It is an intensive course aligned with Yoga Alliance standards, and graduates may register as RYT 200.

Syllabus - What You Will Learn

The curriculum combines practical training with theoretical study, and follows Yoga Alliance standards throughout.

• Asana: Daily practice of traditional Hatha yoga postures with proper alignment, modifications, and adjustments.
• Pranayama: Breathwork practices for energy control and mindfulness.
• Meditation: Guided sessions to strengthen concentration and inner calm.
• Yoga Philosophy: Study of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras and other classical texts to explore yoga as a way of life.
• Anatomy: An understanding of the human body, including bones, muscles, and their relationship to yoga.
• Teaching Methodology: Learn class sequencing, voice use, and adjustments.
• Ayurveda: An introduction to Ayurvedic principles, diet, and daily routines.

A 15% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. In special circumstances, the deposit validity may be extended, subject to evaluation on a case-by-case basis. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the program begins.
