Medicinal plant dietas create a deep relationship between the inner self and the spirit of the plants, supporting awareness of the soul. Through working with Ayahuasca, San Pedro, and a range of medicinal plants, participants are invited to discover meaningful insights about themselves and the path they are walking. Like any sincere relationship, a dieta asks for intention, discipline, and commitment.
At Flower of Life Ayahuasca Healing Retreat Center, the program includes Master Medicinal Plant Dietas such as Shiric Sanango, Chuchuwasi, Cat’s Claw, Malva, Bobinsana, Ayahuma, Piñón Blanco, Achiote, Ajo Sacha, Noya Rao, and Tobacco. These plant diets are traditionally associated with spiritual growth, self-discipline, and deep inner work.
The process often involves intense fasting and eating only one plant at a time, along with small portions of food. Dietas may last for days, weeks, or even months, and are commonly practiced in isolation within the plant’s native environment. The journey is guided by the Maestros as part of preparation for ceremony.
Before beginning, it is important that your diet and daily activities do not “cross of energies.” In practical terms, this means approaching the dieta with respect for the work ahead. The goal is to keep the body as free as possible from chemicals and toxins, while staying aligned with the intentions you have set.
We recommend cleansing foods, fruits, vegetables, high-fiber meals, and unprocessed ingredients. It is also best to reduce sugar and oils as much as possible. Consider what your body digests well and what leaves you feeling healthy and energized. Your thoughts matter too: stay positive about yourself and the dieta, and remember that this is a relationship with the medicine plants that can teach and heal you.
This program supports those who feel ready to make meaningful changes in life. Natural medicine can accelerate personal evolution through healing with medicinal plants. Their energetic frequency helps bring to the surface anything in the body, mind, emotions, or soul that is no longer aligned with light, creating space for transformation.
Many people find that the medicine opens the heart to forgiveness, acceptance, unconditional love, unity, and oneness. It can also support healing in relationships, as the Master Plant Teachers may reveal deeper meanings and solutions to relational challenges. A greater sense of self-love and self-acceptance often follows, creating a bridge toward loving others more fully.
Ayahuasca is known as a powerful pattern-interrupter. Old habits, blocks, and limiting patterns that affect happiness, vitality, love, health, and success can be released and healed. It may also help guide people through difficult times, crisis, and traumatic experiences held in consciousness, including those stored in the emotional, spiritual, or physical body.
The Master Teacher Plants also support a profound detox of the physical body, helping release toxins and contaminants that may contribute to disease and premature aging. They can also detox the mind from overthinking, anxiety, stress, and toxic thought patterns, increasing awareness of how thoughts shape emotions, communication, and daily life. In this way, the work may open the heart, mind, and soul to spiritual intelligence, inspiration, and awakening.
