Step into an immersive 100-hour training in Rishikesh and build a solid foundation in the traditional practice and philosophy of yoga. This residential experience brings together Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Pranayama, Shatkarma, meditation, yoga anatomy and philosophy, offering a meaningful pause from daily routines in the spiritual atmosphere of Rishikesh.
At Adi Yogpeeth, the programme is designed for focused study and personal growth. It combines classical yoga practices with a supportive learning environment, helping students strengthen their understanding of alignment, breath, awareness and the deeper roots of yogic living.
Train with experienced yoga teachers and learn from timeless traditions while joining an international community of students from around the world. The course encourages a balanced connection between body, breath, mind and awareness for a more grounded and enriching practice.
Throughout the training, you will refine traditional postures with correct alignment, adjustments and a mindful approach. You will also explore classical breathing techniques to support vitality, focus and inner balance, while developing a consistent meditation practice to cultivate clarity and peace.
The curriculum includes study of the Yoga Sutras, yogic lifestyle and the deeper meaning of yoga, alongside functional anatomy and teaching methodology. These elements are designed to help you understand how to guide others safely and confidently.
You will also develop a basic understanding of how to structure and communicate a yoga class with clarity and awareness. The final stage of the training includes practical and theoretical assessment to review both your knowledge and personal practice.
Each day follows a balanced rhythm that supports practice, study, nourishment, rest and self-reflection. This thoughtful structure creates an environment for deep learning, inner growth and a more conscious way of living.
The training is suitable for beginners, yoga practitioners and students seeking a stronger foundation in yoga practice, philosophy, pranayama and meditation. Those who successfully complete the required training and attendance requirements receive the applicable 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate from Adi Yogpeeth.
The programme begins on the 2nd of every month. Check-in is on the 1st, and the 11-day training runs from the 2nd through the 12th.
How the 100 hours are structured:
Upon successful completion, participants receive an Adi Yogpeeth Yoga Teacher Training Certificate for the programme completed. Adi Yogpeeth is a Yoga Alliance registered school, and programme registration and recognition depend on the specific training and its requirements.
