This 11-day, 100-hour Introductory Yoga Teacher Training is designed for students who want to deepen their practice while building a clear and structured foundation in yoga studies. Hosted by Aegialis School of Yoga, the program unfolds in a respected yoga and wellness environment, known internationally for its quality and inspiring natural setting.
Created as an intensive learning experience, the training invites participants to broaden their understanding of yoga philosophy, strengthen their asana practice, and explore yoga as a way of life. With guidance from experienced teachers and the distinctive atmosphere of Amorgos, students are supported in their personal growth as well as their development on the mat.
The course offers a well-rounded introduction to yoga philosophy, alignment-based asana practice, and the basic anatomical principles connected to movement and breath. Students are introduced to the foundations of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga-based practices in a supportive educational setting.
After successful completion, participants receive a Certificate of Completion for a 100-hour Yoga Teacher Training, issued by Aegialis School of Yoga and aligned with Yoga Alliance International standards.
No pre-reading is needed before arrival. The training welcomes students of all levels, and variations and modifications are taught to suit different needs and abilities.
Please note that this is an intensive educational training with a full daily schedule of physical practice and theory-based sessions. It is not a leisure retreat. Participants are expected to arrive in a balanced physical, mental, and emotional state. Due to the demanding nature of the program, it is not suitable for those who are pregnant or managing injuries.
Participants are immersed in a peaceful island setting with wide views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding mountains. Daily meals include a nourishing breakfast buffet, along with wholesome lunch and dinner options prepared from fresh, organic ingredients. All meals are vegetarian and vegan.

These experiences are designed to complement the training, creating space for connection with nature while keeping the educational focus of the program intact.
The Aegialis Experience – A Unified Journey of Living, Learning & Transformation
This teacher training is hosted by Aegialis Hotel & Spa, an internationally recognized yoga and wellness destination. The program takes place across two Aegialis locations, both operated and curated by Aegialis, offering a seamless, high-quality retreat and educational experience under one brand and one philosophy.
Sea Rock is a private seaside villa by Aegialis Hotel & Spa, created as a sanctuary for stillness, presence, and inner exploration. Located just steps from the sea and within walking distance of Aegiali Bay, it offers privacy, quiet, and a deep connection to nature—ideal for yoga, meditation, and reflective practices.
All participants stay at Sea Rock, where the residential part of the training takes place. Morning practices and selected sessions are held in a custom-made geodesic yoga dome (100 sqm), filled with natural light and panoramic sea views, creating a powerful setting for embodied practice and energetic awareness. Breakfast is also served at Sea Rock, allowing each day to begin calmly and unhurriedly.
In addition to the dome, Sea Rock offers outdoor learning and practice spaces that enrich the daily rhythm of the training. An open-air amphitheater with sea views provides a distinctive setting for meditation, evening practices, group discussions, and ceremonial gatherings, while a shaded outdoor practice and theory area offers comfort for daytime sessions, workshops, and lectures.
Selected theoretical and practical modules, including anatomy, teaching methodology, philosophy, supervised practice, and group work, are held at Aegialis Hotel & Spa, the flagship property and center of the Aegialis wellness ecosystem.
The resort features multiple fully equipped yoga shalas with sea and mountain views, each with its own atmosphere and energy, as well as access to extensive wellness facilities. Lunch and dinner are enjoyed daily at Aegialis, with nourishing vegetarian and vegan cuisine designed to support the physical and energetic demands of the training. Participants also have access to the spa, outdoor pool, and wellness areas, supporting relaxation, recovery, and integration throughout the program.
By combining the intimate residential calm of Sea Rock by Aegialis with the professional infrastructure, expertise, and wellness facilities of Aegialis Hotel & Spa, this training offers a unified experience that supports both inner transformation and high-level teacher education.
The movement between venues has been carefully designed and tested to ensure comfort, depth, and continuity, allowing students to feel supported physically, mentally, and energetically throughout the journey.
