Go deeper into Yin · Understand the body · Teach with presence
Yin Yoga is more than a slower style of practice. It has its own method, philosophical roots, and a distinct effect on the tissues, nervous system, and energy body that sets it apart from dynamic forms of yoga. When taught with depth, it can be profoundly transformative; without that depth, it can become little more than long-held floor poses.
Over 14 days in Ubud, this training takes place within the 200 Hour program. From day one, you train alongside that group, sharing morning practice, meals, and study. On day 14, you complete your certification while the 200 Hour students continue into their final week. This is a fully standalone Yoga Alliance Continuing Education qualification.
This 100 Hour Yin training is designed for:
01 Certified Yoga Teachers
Earn 100 Continuing Education hours toward Yoga Alliance renewal while developing a meaningful specialization that many generalist teachers do not have.
02 Dedicated Yin Practitioners
Go beyond studio-level classes and understand what is happening in the fascia, meridians, and nervous system during long holds.
03 People Who Want to Slow Down
If life has been moving too quickly, this training brings structure to stillness and offers tools for the nervous system that stay with you long after Bali.
The Inner Yoga team is made up of specialists, not generalists. Each teacher focuses on their own area of expertise, bringing years of dedicated experience into every session.

The training unfolds progressively, beginning with physical foundations in week one and moving into energetic and philosophical layers in week two. Teaching practice is woven throughout, so your voice develops as the training progresses.
The first week builds your physical and methodological base through anatomy, Paul Grilley’s 14/10/7 model (14 skeletal segments, 10 myofascial groups, 7 pose archetypes), and the ability to observe bodies clearly rather than teaching toward a fixed ideal. You will explore foundational Yin postures, prop use, adjustment skills, and fascia science, including how fascia can hold physical tension as well as emotional patterns.
Week two moves into Traditional Chinese Medicine, including the 12 primary meridians, Five Element Theory, and class sequencing around meridian pathways to support mood and physical health. Myofascial release work expands on the fascia study from week one, while voice activation and teaching practice help bring everything together. By the end, you can plan, sequence, and teach a complete Yin class with a clear understanding of the person in front of you.
Each day begins with morning Vinyasa practice, continues through the core Yin, anatomy, and TCM curriculum, and ends with a 90-minute evening Yin practice. Rest is built into the schedule.
06:30 – 08:00 Morning Vinyasa Practice
08:00 – 09:00 Breakfast
09:00 – 11:00 Yin Yoga & Anatomy
11:00 – 13:00 TCM / Workshop / Teaching Practice
13:00 – 14:30 Lunch & Rest
14:30 – 16:00 Fascia / Myofascial Release Workshop
16:00 – 16:30 Break
16:30 – 18:00 Teaching Practice & Sequencing
18:00 – 19:30 Evening Yin Practice
By the end of the training, you will be able to:
You will graduate with a standalone Yoga Alliance YACEP certificate, 100 hours toward renewal, and continued support from the Inner Yoga team.
Because this training runs within the 200 Hour program, you join a group of 18 students from the opening circle, sharing Yin, TCM, anatomy, meals, and the energy of immersive learning with teachers and practitioners at different stages of their journey.
Since the 200 Hour students also attend Vinyasa-specific sessions, your schedule has more space for study, rest by the pool, or time to explore Ubud. By day fifteen, when the 200 Hour group continues into its final week, you will have formed connections that last well beyond Bali.
Runs alongside the 200 Hour cohort, with the first 15 days shared before you complete your training as they move into their final week.

Groups are capped at 18 students across the 100-hour and 200-hour programs combined.
Do I need to be a certified yoga teacher to join?
No. This training is open to everyone, including certified teachers, dedicated practitioners, and complete beginners to Yin. If you already hold a 200 Hour certification, these 100 hours count toward Yoga Alliance renewal.
Do I need previous Yin Yoga experience?
Previous practice is helpful, but it is not required. The training is built from the ground up, and curiosity matters more than experience.
I have an injury. Is this training suitable for me?
Yin Yoga is one of the more accessible practices for people with injuries. The slower pace, props, and functional anatomy approach make modifications available. Please share any injuries when booking.
English is not my first language. Will I understand the training?
Students from many countries join each month, and many speak English as a second language. The teachers are experienced with international groups and happy to clarify things privately.
What is the difference between the 100 Hour Yin and the 200 Hour training?
The 200 Hour program is a complete certification in Vinyasa and Yin, qualifying you to register as RYT 200. The 100 Hour Yin is a standalone continuing education training focused on Yin, meridian theory, and TCM. You train with the 200 Hour cohort for the first 14 days and leave with a YACEP certificate rather than an RYT 200.
Why choose a 100 Hour Yin training over a 50 Hour?
Most 50-hour Yin trainings last 6–8 days and cover the essentials. This 100 Hour training gives you double the contact hours over 14 days, with more room for the full 12 primary and 2 extra meridians, Five Element Theory, fascia science, hands-on myofascial release technique, mindfulness sessions, and repeated, mentored teaching practice.
Is there a written exam or final assessment?
You will teach a Yin class in a small group setting with your notes available, refined throughout the training. There is no written exam.
Will I be able to teach Yin Yoga professionally after this training?
Yes. Graduates leave with a functional understanding of Yin methodology, TCM, and anatomy, and the ability to sequence, theme, and teach a complete class with confidence. The YACEP certificate is recognized by Yoga Alliance worldwide.
How much does the 100 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training cost?
Fully residential and all-inclusive: $1,625 triple share, $1,875 twin share, or $2,125 private room. There is no early bird pricing. A $500 deposit secures your place, with the balance due 30 days before your start date.
Can I upgrade to the 200 Hour training once I arrive?
Yes. If you decide during the training that you would like to stay on and complete the full 200 Hour program, you can transfer and pay the difference, subject to availability.
I have never been to Bali before. Will I be looked after?
Yes. Airport pickup is included, along with 1–2 nights of pre-training accommodation so you can arrive settled before the program begins.
