Daily early morning asana practice supports the development of a stronger pranayama practice. These sessions are designed to open the body and support the chakras, helping prepare you for breathwork at a deeper level. Every asana sequence in this training is carefully selected with Pranayama in mind.
Pranayama is widely valued for its benefits, but lasting progress comes from a clear and disciplined approach. In this training, you will explore how to begin, how to progress safely, and how to refine your practice with greater awareness.
The course covers essential foundations such as correct entry points, common experiences, warning signs to observe, and ideal breath ratios for different stages of practice. Step by step, you will develop a structured practice that can grow into something more advanced and transformative.
Teaching Pranayama calls for precision, sensitivity, and presence. A teacher must guide with clarity while keeping the atmosphere calm and steady. Instructions should be concise, the voice gentle and audible, and demonstrations used thoughtfully so the meditative quality of the practice remains intact.
Throughout this training, you will strengthen your ability to teach from the foundation to advanced levels, learning how to communicate with confidence while staying attentive to each student's experience.
Asana practice is an important support for deepening pranayama. When approached well, it prepares both body and mind, allowing breathwork to unfold with greater ease and depth.
Each evening in this course, you will work with themed asana sequences that address different physical and psychological aspects of practice. These sessions are more than movement; they are purposeful tools that enrich and intensify the pranayama journey.
Understanding the anatomy of Pranayama brings greater accuracy and insight to the practice. Breath is not simply air moving in and out, but a coordinated relationship between the diaphragm, lungs, ribcage, and nervous system.
In this training, you will study how Pranayama affects the respiratory system, the role of the diaphragm in breath control, and the influence of various breathing techniques on the autonomic nervous system. This knowledge supports clearer teaching and more refined practice.
