06 Days Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Course

Set in Rishikesh, India, this immersive 6-day aerial yoga training offers a fresh and inspiring way to deepen your practice. Created for yoga practitioners, wellness enthusiasts, and future teachers, the course blends creativity, safety, and spiritual depth as you explore aerial asanas, inversions, flows, and teaching methodology in the peaceful setting of the Yoga Capital of the World.

Across six intensive days, you will build a strong foundation in aerial yoga while also expanding your understanding of alignment, anatomy, and instruction. The program is designed to help you move with confidence in the hammock, develop teaching skills, and experience the uplifting energy of practice surrounded by the sacred atmosphere of Rishikesh.

What You Will Explore

• Safe hammock setup, foundational postures, and essential transitions
• Creative aerial flows that combine traditional yoga with suspended movement
• How aerial yoga supports the spine, joints, muscles, and overall body awareness

• All classes end: 08th
• Written and practical exam: 08th, followed by graduation
• Farewell and checkout: 09th by 10:00 AM
• 100% attendance is mandatory; uninformed or irrelevant absences may lead to cancellation of certification

The program curriculum includes Aerial Yoga, Hatha & Yin asana, Ashtanga Vinyasa, pranayama and meditation, yoga philosophy and life management, and applied yoga anatomy and biomechanics. The daily schedule begins early with pranayama and meditation, followed by Hatha or Yin yoga, anatomy, aerial practice, aerial sequencing, philosophy, and Ashtanga Vinyasa or adjustment and alignment sessions on Wednesday and Saturday. Lights off is at 10:00 PM. This schedule is tentative and may change.

Accommodation check-in time is 11:00 and check-out time is 10:00 on the 09th. Rooms are provided in nearby buildings within walking distance of the yoga halls. The school also notes that same-gender sharing applies unless you book a private room or come with a friend or partner.

For your packing list, bring a valid ID, toiletries, personal towels and hygiene items, a metal water bottle, a hand towel, an universal adapter, comfortable yoga clothing, one pair of white clothes for the ceremony, sandals or flip-flops, and body-covering clothes for temple visits. A raincoat or umbrella is also recommended. If possible, bring your own yoga mat, although mats are available for sharing.
