Known as Tatzimoi, meaning “the bird that accompanies families with its song,” Yana Bartova is a teacher and healer whose path is rooted in ancestral wisdom and sacred tradition. Originally from the Czech Republic, she spent 10 years in Mexico immersed in medicine, temazcales, moon dances, and sacred singing, developing a deep respect for ceremonial practice and the healing power of voice.
Following a life-changing experience with Ayahuasca, she moved to South America to continue strengthening her connection with the plant and to support others on their own healing journeys. Together with her husband, Mira Jempe, she guides healing and ceremonies around the world, sharing practices shaped by devotion, presence, and lived experience.
In the Vilcabamba Valley, Yana founded the Agua Women's Collective, a space where women can explore ancestral medicines, art, and singing. She now lives with her family in the mountains, helping nurture a sanctuary dedicated to the sacred mother and offering her gratitude for the wisdom and life she continues to share.
