Introduced to yoga in 2015, I immediately felt drawn to the practice. Through moving meditation, my mind becomes calmer and my body more relaxed. At times, it brings me back to my truest self. I feel more confident in life and find more joy in it. As I continue to explore it more deeply, I see yoga as far more than physical exercise and breathwork. It has become a way of life.
I have found that asana is the most familiar entry point for introducing yoga to our community. By using the body as a gateway to the mind, I work with the four-step breath from Heart of Yoga as a bridge between body and mind. I also offer Trauma Informed Yoga, teaching in the gentlest and safest way possible.
My teacher often says, “There is yoga for everybody. If you can breathe, you can do yoga.” I hope to facilitate you and your studio with yoga that supports both body and mind.
