Berlin has felt like a second home since 1988, and since 1995 I have been leading a practice that brings together the fascinating space between dance, voice, movement, and yoga. My early path as an actress sharpened my awareness that voice and language are powerful tools for inner work. In my current Vinyasa Flow style, I consciously weave breath and voice together. This harmonious connection transforms the practice into a distinctive experience that has won the hearts of many participants over the years through gentle depth and radiant energy.
Yoga moves with life energy, helping you reconnect with your inner sources of strength. It creates the space needed to leave everyday life behind and enter a state of deep letting go. During practice, you discover new dimensions of openness, vitality, and aliveness, always accompanied by strength and stability. Inner joy and the power of stillness expand and settle deeply into the body and energy system. As a certified yoga teacher, I completed my training with the professional association of yoga teachers in Germany (BDY).
My path has taken me through yoga and Qi Gong, as well as the Dance of the 5 Rhythms by G. Roth — flowing, staccato, chaos, playful, rest, and stillness. For more than 25 years, I have explored the connection between breath, voice, and movement. Among the teachers who have inspired me are Anna Trökes, Doris Echlin, Boris Tatzky, and Ursula Lyon. Many yoga traditions have shaped my work: Hatha Yoga, Energy Yoga, Yoga Flow, Yoga Dance, Vinyasa Flow, Tri-Yoga Flow, Power Yoga, and Yoga of the Heart. Long-standing experience in Buddhist meditation and shamanism has also had a lasting influence on my development.
For me, yoga means well-being, stability, and ease. It is a path I continue to rediscover with curiosity and creativity, meeting challenges both on the mat and in everyday life. I learn to observe what is happening with attention and mindfulness, becoming more patient, kinder, and more compassionate toward myself and the world around me. Judgments fall away. I accept change calmly and with cheerful equanimity, remaining centered even in the midst of life’s storms. My motto is: “Where tightness, there spaciousness.”
