Philosophy and meditation form the heart of his teaching path. He began his yoga journey in 1997 at Bihar Yoga Bharati, a university internationally recognized for its authentic and systematic approach to yogic discipline. After completing his postgraduate studies in Yoga Psychology, he spent a year and a half as an intern contributing to projects and research in prisons, the army, hospitals, and corporate settings.
Following his internship, he joined Bihar Yoga Bharati as a lecturer in the Department of Yoga Psychology. This role gave him the opportunity to explore both the theoretical and practical dimensions of yogic knowledge. Between 2001 and 2005, he taught certificate, diploma, and postgraduate students from India and abroad, while also supervising dissertations and projects in the field of yoga.
In 2006, he joined Ananda in the Himalayas as Head of Yoga, where he was responsible for designing and delivering a range of yoga packages and programs for the award-winning destination spa. In 2010, he received the SPA FINDER Reader’s Choice Top 10 Favourite Spa Professional Award. Ananda’s yoga program was also honored as Best for Yoga in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.
As a teacher of yogic discipline, he values the energy people bring and sees his role as a facilitator who helps create an atmosphere of growth and harmony. For him, teaching is a shared process in which teacher and participants engage together, building connection and evolving through the journey of yoga.
He is especially drawn to the traditional teaching of yoga, rooted in time-tested and authentic methods.
