Internationally certified and highly experienced, this yoga teacher brings a deep, traditional background shaped by years of study in India. He trained at Himalayan Yoga University, following the Gurukulam system at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grhama in Rishikesh, and holds a Master of Hatha Yoga as well as a Grand Master of Meditation qualification. He is also authorized to lead and certify 200-hour yoga teacher trainings.
After spending many years in Auroville, India, Max now serves as an official representative of Auroville International in Montenegro (AVI Montenegro). He is the founder and head teacher of Yogaboka studio in Kotor, an expert yoga teacher at PMYC Sports Club, and a yoga instructor at Chenot Espace Spa, One&Only Resort.
His teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that the right connection matters more than style alone. For him, yoga is about energy, and that can only be truly understood through practice. His own path has been shaped by direct learning from respected masters, with a rare opportunity to study authentic yoga in India, especially across the Himalayan region, including Rishikesh, Haridwar, and the Dhauladhar Mountain Range in Himachal Pradesh.
As a student of Swami Veda, a direct disciple of Swami Rama of the Himalayas, he received initiations in the Himalayan Yoga Tradition, as well as in Shakta Sampradaya through Sri Vagish Shastri of Varanasi. His approach remains classical and lineage-based, with a focus on transmitting knowledge faithfully, authentically, and without ego — allowing prana to flow and shakti to continue working as intended.
