Mallory Albrecht is a writer, resource curator, and grief advocate who serves as director of cohort coaches and facilitates coaching groups within the certificate program. Her work is rooted in compassionate leadership and a commitment to creating spaces where people can be heard, supported, and guided with care.
With more than 20 years of experience in churches and in partnership with pastors, Mallory has contributed to youth ministry, leadership development, home-church direction, and guest services. Her background reflects a deep understanding of community care and the many ways meaningful support can be offered within faith-based settings.
Mallory has trained with the Allender Center and completed the Narrative Focused Trauma Care I program, which equips pastors and lay leaders to sit with stories of grief and facilitate trauma-informed group work with thoughtful, illuminating care.
She is especially drawn to art, ritual, and embodied practices as pathways for processing childhood grief held beneath the surface. Based in San Diego with her husband and two dogs, Mallory is passionate about equipping churches and pastors for grief work through a trauma-informed Gospel lens.
