Greg’s yoga path began in 1996, after a friend encouraged him to attend a class. From that first session, he felt a clear sense that yoga was meant to be part of his life. It became a steady support in his healing from childhood illness, anxiety, and depression, while also offering him deeper meaning and purpose. Between 1997 and 2003, he completed several teacher trainings in the U.S. and Europe, and from 1999 to 2016 he made a dozen extended study trips to Mysore, India, where he immersed himself in Ashtanga yoga, yoga philosophy, breathwork, meditation, and chanting. A graduate of the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy, Greg has worked as a studio owner, an international workshop presenter, and a developer of a Yoga Alliance–registered school, with a consistent focus on trauma-informed, consent-driven, and person-centered yoga education.
Greg currently serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Trainings for Yoga 4 Change, a statewide nonprofit offering trauma-informed yoga services in Florida. He also consults with Live Your Best Life, where he helps develop yoga therapy modules and protocols for health conditions, mentors students at the Kripalu School of Yoga Therapy, serves on the Member Schools Committee with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), and sits on the board of Chainless Change, a recovery community supporting people affected by the criminal legal system. Guided by a lifelong commitment to yoga as both personal healing and social justice, Greg continues working to make its benefits accessible to all.
