My name is Diomedes Durand, though I’m often called Coco. I was born in Catcca, a beautiful place in Quispicanchi Province, and I come from an Andean family. Quechua is my first language.
For more than 12 years, I have worked as a tour guide. I love leading people on mountain journeys and sharing the breathtaking landscapes of my homeland. I also enjoy telling the stories, history, and culture of Peru, because they reveal how deeply our past shapes the present.
What means the most to me is the spiritual wisdom passed down by our ancestors. It is a precious part of our heritage, carried within us and kept alive through connection and sharing. By guiding others, I can pass on this knowledge and help preserve our traditions. I feel grateful to contribute to something greater and to invite people to discover the beauty and spirituality of our land.
