I am a Colombian psychologist, psychotherapist, and integration specialist with more than 20 years of experience in traditional Indigenous medicines. My interest in plant medicine first began in my late teens, when I met traditional healers in my home country.
Over the course of my life, I have worked in a range of settings and cultures, including Colombia, Argentina, Peru, and Spain. Along the way, I have had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with gifted healers from diverse traditional backgrounds. As part of my training, I also lived and worked in the Peruvian Amazon for six years, which deepened my understanding of psychotherapy, traditional medicine, and the connection between the two.
I have coordinated therapeutic teams in treatment centers working with master plants, where I also trained staff in integration processes. Today, I serve as coordinator of the ICEERS Support Center, which offers integration sessions to people from around the world who have had challenging experiences with psychedelics. In addition, I teach courses on integration, ethics, safety, and good practice in the therapeutic use of master plants in non-traditional contexts.
My therapeutic work centers on listening and awareness. By listening deeply, I aim to help people listen to themselves, reconnect with themselves, and develop greater self-knowledge. This is profound work that seeks not only to ease symptoms, but also to support clients in honoring themselves and moving through life with more freedom and care. In sessions, we often explore dreams and other expressions of the unconscious. Rather than following a fixed agenda or protocol, the process unfolds in an individual and organic way, helping each person connect with their own voice.
