Christopher Lluard brings a rare breadth of study to his teaching, shaped by formal training across Zen, Mahamudra, and Dzogchen within Mahayana lineages, as well as Vipassana and early Buddhist studies from Theravada traditions. His background also includes Vedanta from the Hindu traditions, creating a rich foundation for a nuanced and inclusive approach to practice.
Alongside these classical teachings, Christopher has deepened his work through contemporary modalities such as Secular Buddhism, MBSR, Insight practice, Trauma Informed Plant Medicine Facilitation, Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, Buddhist Psychology, Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, Neuroplasticity, and Trauma Healing. He is committed to lifelong learning and currently studies Mindfulness and Psychology at Harvard School of Medicine and at Barre Center for Buddhist Studies, both PhD-level programs.
Participants can expect a thoughtful, informed presence that bridges traditional wisdom and modern understanding, with an emphasis on mindfulness, resilience, and compassionate awareness.
