Originally from Wales, Cat spent many years living in London, where she completed all of her yoga studies. She has now returned to Gwynedd in North Wales. Practising yoga since the early 1990s, she has trained in a wide range of styles, with a special focus on DRU Yoga.
Cat first trained with the British Wheel of Yoga before discovering DRU. She went on to study with the DRU Yoga London school for three years, DRU Meditation for three years, and DRU Kids & Teens across London, the Midlands and North Wales. In 2018, she also qualified as a Dru Yoga Dance teacher.
Her classes draw on DRU Yoga techniques including Activations, Energy Block Release sequences, pranayama, asanas, flowing sequences, and deep relaxation. With an emphasis on movement, guided breathing and visualisation, she weaves in her own experience to create a practice that supports body, mind and spirit. Sessions are designed to build strength and flexibility, encourage core stability, lift positivity, and leave you feeling refreshed, alert, calm and deeply restored.
Her dedicated meditation classes include warm-ups, EBRs, Prana Kriyas, relaxation and guided meditation.
More recently, Cat completed an in-depth diploma with The Teen Yoga Foundation and has taken on the role of Teen Yoga Ambassador for Wales. Her teaching supports the physical and mental wellbeing of young people.
Cat is also a Qi Gong teacher, and this practice complements her yoga and teaching style beautifully. She has trained with several schools, with a particular highlight being her work with Lee Holden.
