From an early age, I felt deeply connected to wilderness and wildlife, and that bond has remained just as important to me as friendship. Today, as a clinical herbalist, I love helping people discover the wisdom of weeds. These plants often reflect truths we may have forgotten, like St. John’s Wort, which chooses to thrive in disturbed, depleted soil with very little water and against the odds.
I also value the generosity of weeds and always seek their permission before gathering them, offering something in return for their gifts.
My passion is creating nourishing vegan meals with weeds. I cook intuitively, so every dish becomes a unique expression, much like a piece of art. For me, this is a way to honor the freshness and individuality of each moment.
It brings me great joy to support others in finding their authentic creative passion and confidence in the kitchen, so they can express themselves clearly and create food that is both delicious and nourishing. When I’m not in the forest, by the river, or in the kitchen, you’ll likely find me trekking, wild camping, reading and writing poetry, painting, crocheting, dancing, or meditating.
I studied clinical herbalism with Asia Suler, Susun Weed, and the Herbal Academy. My learning also includes time spent living and apprenticing with German herbalists in Upper Austria, as well as with Bedouin healers in the desert of Jordan. I also learned organic farming with pioneer Mr. Mario Salerno.
I am deeply grateful to all of my mentors, including weeds, animals, and elementals.
