I have been devoted to the path of yoga and meditation since 1991. In my very first class, while still studying communication, I realized that yoga is far more than learning unfamiliar postures. It invites me to keep exploring the depth of this path and to experience it with authenticity.
In 2004, I founded the “Yogaschule München” and successfully led it until 2016. My foundation is a four-year training as a BDY/EYU yoga teacher, along with a three-year deepening in yoga therapy and philosophy with Sriram.
I am rooted in classical Hatha yoga and continue to enrich both my practice and knowledge over time. In 2012, I completed an extensive 200 Hour Teacher Training with YogaWorks. Today, insights from fascia yoga flow naturally into my teaching. At present, I mainly dedicate myself to private sessions.
My yoga is shaped by attention to the breath. I value the balance between very gentle, flowing movements and more powerful exercises. Based on this approach, I developed a practice especially for athletes and published the book Yoga for Triathletes as well as three DVDs on Yoga for Endurance Athletes.
My goal is to help participants understand what yoga is and how it can positively influence life, as I would summarize it:
“Yoga is the valuable balance to everyday life: calm instead of noise. Focus instead of distraction. Feeling instead of thinking. Observing instead of reacting. Perceiving one’s inner world instead of the outer world.”
