Amritesh is a highly inspiring and experienced yoga teacher and therapist whose work centers on the relationship between body, breath, and mind, as well as the subtle influence yoga has on each of them. He invites students to remain open to every dimension of yoga, and his calm teaching style feels both soothing and uplifting. In his classes, he creates a warm, light-hearted atmosphere where students can learn comfortably while also connecting with the true essence of yoga. Deeply passionate about sharing his own practices and experiences, he has been teaching Hatha, Ashtanga, pranayama, philosophy, and meditation since 2008 through yoga teacher training courses, workshops, seminars, and group sessions in yoga institutes, schools, colleges, old age homes, and orphanages. He has also taken part in and represented several national and international yoga events, helping spread the message of health and well-being through yoga practice and philosophy.
Born in North India, Amritesh felt a natural pull toward yoga from childhood. During his studies, he competed at different levels in yoga championships and received many medals. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy (PGDYT) from Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, Lonavla, and has pursued an in-depth study of yoga in various places across India. At the beginning of his practice, he focused strongly on asanas and the physical aspect of yoga, supported by his academic background in anatomy and physiology. He developed the ability to hold asanas for long periods with ease and to teach challenging postures in a simple, scientific way through clear cues. Over time, however, he came to understand that yoga was created by yogis not only for the body, but to experience something beyond body and mind and to live more blissfully. Alongside teaching, he continues to explore the deeper layers of yoga by attending advanced yoga and meditation retreats.
