As a teenager, a close friend once lent me a yoga book — a book I borrowed and never returned. I read it from cover to cover and immediately began practicing the yoga it described on my own, because I felt an instant sense of belonging in it. Since then, I have completed two classical Hatha Yoga teacher trainings in India, traveled there several times, and deepened my studies through additional trainings in Yoga Nidra, Ayurveda, Vastu, and Vinyasa Yoga. I also have 10 years of experience teaching yoga.
My original profession was architecture, and today I bring both worlds together as an architect and yoga teacher. This combination reflects my creative and analytical strengths, as well as my deep interest in healing bodywork and spirituality. In 2020, I also completed further training to become a Vasati counsellor. Vastu is often described as “the yoga of architecture,” and its purpose is to shape spaces that feel naturally uplifting and harmonizing.
I see yoga as a path of self-empowerment that can support people of all ages and health conditions. In my classes, I aim to inspire joy of movement while cultivating vitality and strength. We also practice conscious body awareness, deepen self-awareness, and learn to meet the body with mindfulness and care. Loving attention to the body is essential in all that I teach.
