Alison Fuller
I fell in love with yoga as soon as my feet touched the mat. As the sound of OM resonated through me with a deep sense of relaxation and the feeling of coming home to myself I knew things would be different for me from this moment. This is when yoga became the beginning of a life long journey for me. Since then I have integrated the yoga philosophies and practice into my everyday life. It hasn’t been an easy journey, juggling visions of my soul’s calling for complete zen whilst holding up a “normal” job and paying the bills!

I am devoted to continuously­­ learning, sharing and radiating this knowledge for everyone to utilize and enjoy. The more I explore and learn, the more I’m able to share my wisdom in a new and vibrant light, it is a true blessing and honour to share that journey with my students. I believe yoga is a great tool for everyone to use in everyday life to help bring the body, mind, and soul back into balance, again and again.

My teachings are grounded in the traditional lineage of Hatha yoga with its deep philosophies and married with the movement of Vinyasa Flow. I honour the traditions while awakening the true potential as an individual in the modern world.

I first came across yoga when my brother took me to my first class when I was looking to do something new in my life, never quite content with what I had. I remember by the end of that class thinking ‘what just happened, what is this I was sold, with no idea why. This is where my practice began.

From the first smell of incense to the deep relaxation of savasana, I started going to more classes and more teachers. I not only started to notice the physical benefits yoga was having on my body but also the mental benefits on my mind. I had struggled like most people; work, family, health, relationships but the more I practised, the more my perspective on life changed.

I have travelled around the world to experience different styles of yoga and meditation and took my training in India and the UK. I have since taught in yoga studios, gyms and offices as well as teaching Mindfulness in the Workplace within the music industry.

My yoga classes are flow based around Hatha and Vinyasa traditions also incorporating Sivananda yoga. In addition, I teach different types of meditation, pranayama (breathwork), yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) mudras and mindfulness in everyday life.
