Our Spirit of Summer week-long retreat is set in the stunning, golden countryside of Sicily. On this retreat, we’ll slow down and reconnect with the sense of peace, space and nourishment that nature brings. We will explore what uplifts our spirits, and fills us with joy and connection to deeper meaning in life. Daily yoga and meditation practices, locally sourced vegetarian food, and the warm company will bring balance, ease and lightness to body and mind.


Rooms are situated either in the main building of the Masseria or throughout five beautiful cottages located in the garden and grounds. The cottages have their own private patios and kitchenettes. All rooms have heating and air conditioning facilities and are elegantly furnished with an antique or Sicilian style furniture.


We’ll enjoy three delicious vegetarian meals a day, prepared with the very own produce of the Masseria, a certified organic farm for over 15 years. The extraordinary vegetables and fruits that grow on the Sicilian soil, from oranges to lemons, basil to tomatoes and artichokes, will make delicious, nourishing dishes to feed the soul. Our feasts also cater to all dietary requirements. Tea, coffee, and still water will be available 24 hours a day.


We will have two optional day trips; a full day trip to the seaside on Wednesday, and a half-day trip on Friday to Petralia Soprana, the highest village in the Madonie mountain region. There will also be options for cooking classes at the Masseria, and for long walks and hiking in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Over the last decade yoga, mindfulness, and qigong have not only transformed my life and health - they pretty much saved it. They freed me from a lifetime of self-destructive behaviours and gave my life clarity, purpose and meaning. There’s nothing more important to me than sharing this.

I teach in a way which is emotionally intelligent but direct, disciplined but playful, logical but humorous. I share the things which have worked for me, things which originate from my direct experience over the years.

Meditation gave me a sliver of breathing space, just enough to pluck up the courage to go to my first yoga class. Yoga was challenging; both physically and mentally.

Over time, meditation and yoga helped me to confront a lot of uncomfortable truths in my life and move beyond them; freedom, strength, and healing were the result. As my own practice and fascination deepened, I decided to train so I could share and try to make some small difference in an increasingly complicated world.
