Come and join Virginia Compton (Holistic Wellness with Yoga and Ayurveda) and RajKumar Purush (Divine Yoga Kathmandu) for this once in a lifetime 9-night retreat in the Himalayan foothills overlooking Kathmandu.

The daily schedule will include, twice daily Yoga and Meditation, Sound healing, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, all accommodation and food. Use of the sauna, steam and swimming pool, trips to local sites of interest such as the stupa at Boudanath, The monkey temple at Swamabhu and the ancient streets of Thamel with its shops and bazaars.

Our venue is a luxury resort located in five acres of tranquil, wooded gardens overlooking the hustle and bustle of central Kathmandu. More than two thousand flowering trees and shrubs cover the grounds and are home to butterflies, dragonflies and nearly 75 species of birds including hoopoes, heron and kingfisher. We are located at the northern edge of the Kathmandu Valley, just below the subtropical Shivapuri-Nagarjun National Park, less than half an hour’s drive from central Kathmandu or the airport.

Virginia Compton
I am an independent teacher, not affiliated to any organisation. My passion is to share the ancient philosophies and benefits of Yoga and Ayurveda to help others to find peace of mind and well being in a holistic way in the modern world. To enhance this experience I offer retreats, in-depth workshops and individual private and therapeutic sessions, lifestyle advice, therapeutic massage and whole food cookery.

I share the practices which I myself practice and of which I have personal experience. Practices offered are varied, adapted for the individual and the group and range from traditional Yoga to Well Woman and Yoga therapy styles as well as Yoga Nidra.

In my sharing of everything I offer I aim to be realistic about life and its challenges and therefore may share some of my own life experiences in order to illustrate how Yoga can help you to overcome the difficulties and challenges which we can all face on a daily basis.

Raj Kumar Purush
He has started the yogic journey from the Nature healing system Naturopathy in being connected with nature and all the ways of being healthy since 2008. The further quest of searching the happiness in the faces he started practising yoga initially with himself and in search happiness let him toward the yogic life. He did master in Human consciousness and Yogic science that completely made him in Yogic path. He let multi styles Yogasana class in attaining the healthy body and relaxed mind.

He has experience in making the relaxed state to students studying various level to cope and adjust the upcoming challenges. He gives class for Nepalese as well as a foreigner from the beginning stage to advance stage. The classes make all to be in present not worrying in past or enthusiasm about the future, just accepting the presence and being pleased with nature. He is registered American Yoga Alliance teacher of 200 and 300 hours in traditional Hatha and ashtanga yoga with asana, pranayama, and meditation along the body cleaning process Shatkarmas as explained in yoga.
