Join Jennifer in Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, one of the world’s Blue Zones, for a week of yoga, nature, fresh local food and self-exploration. Begin your new year with a shift of perspective rather than a list of resolutions. According to Dan Buettner’s book, The Blue Zones, people tend to not only live longer but thrive by including the following in their everyday life: Move, Eat Whole Foods, Have a Sense of Purpose, Connect with your Family and Community, and incorporate Rest & Relaxation. Be ready to live easier, not harder.
A variety of yoga classes and mindfulness practices will be offered daily to explore the Blue Zone principles. Plenty of free time will be available ,as you step away from daily life, to be in nature, rest and relax, and connect with the vibrant community the retreat will create. You will leave with not only the knowledge but having the experience of how the elements of diet, lifestyle and outlook lead to an amazing quality of life.Yoga classes will be available for all levels of practice including vinyasa, therapeutic, yin and restorative. Take home materials will be given to support your meditation and journaling. The Costa Rican climate will provide the perfect backdrop to start your new year a new way!
