Description

Join a rejuvenating long weekend in the Pocono Mountains that blends movement, nature, and meaningful connection. From May 28—31, 2026, Ransom Hare and Aaron Luburich will guide an active yet balanced retreat designed to help you recharge in a peaceful outdoor setting.

Highlights

  • Guided hikes across the Himalayan Institute’s 400-acre campus and nearby Prompton State Park
  • Breath-aligned yoga, meditation, and systematic relaxation
  • Relaxing evenings spent around a bonfire
  • A welcoming atmosphere for meeting like-minded people

Overview

This retreat offers an energizing escape into the natural beauty of northeastern Pennsylvania. Over the course of the weekend, you’ll cover approximately 10–15 miles of scenic trails, walking through forests, along lakes and rivers, and past waterfalls on the Himalayan Institute’s wooded campus and in nearby Prompton State Park, which features more than 20 miles of maintained trails.

Trail time is paired with yoga, breath-connected movement, and meditation practices that encourage presence, ease, and a deeper awareness of both self and surroundings. The pace is steady and accessible, allowing space for exploration, restoration, and reflection without urgency.

Sharing the landscape, practicing together, and enjoying meals naturally creates a spirit of camaraderie. Many guests find that connection forms quickly in this setting. In the evenings, there is time to unwind with gentle practices, quiet reflection, or gathering around a bonfire for conversation, s’mores, and stargazing.

Thoughtfully designed as a restorative getaway, this retreat supports physical vitality and mental clarity. Whether you’re looking for a reset from daily life, meaningful community, or an intentional way to experience the outdoors, this weekend invites you to move, breathe, and recharge.
