The meeting point of power, fulfillment, and freedom sets tantra apart from many other paths of yoga and spirituality. It invites us to unite our inner longing with our outer life in a sacred way, giving us access to both who we are now and who we are becoming. In this spirit, Sri Sukta stands as one of tantra’s essential practices and reflects the depth of tantra vidya.
Sri Sukta is a collection of 16 mantras devoted to the Divine Mother. These awakened mantras are designed to draw abundance, nourishment, and inner richness toward us, helping us experience life more fully.
To support a complete experience of this practice, Ishan Tigunait offers two programs meant to be taken in sequence. First, participants study the mantras and their meaning in the Sri Sukta Course. Then, they bring the teachings into lived experience through Sri Sukta Sadhana Stage 1.
Sri Sukta Sadhana – Stage 1
This 80-day group practice serves as the doorway into the direct experience of what is learned in the Sri Sukta Course. Following a traditional method, participants recite Sri Sukta 10 times each day for 80 days as the foundational practice of this path. The practice is done at home, at a pace that fits daily life, while still being held within the support of a like-minded group and the strength of collective consciousness. It is intended to awaken inner joy and prosperity as understood through the vision of the seers, while also preparing practitioners for more advanced tantric practices. The at-home recitation period concludes with a special havan, a tantric ritual of sacred fire, offered either online or in person on campus.
Program Format:
On Campus option (space limited)
Includes an opening session, an extended havan with 80 recitations of Sri Sukta to complete the 80-day practice, and a closing session.
Program Highlights:
Lifetime access does not include the havan practices. In keeping with the sanctity and time-bound nature of these group rituals, they are available only for 14 days after the program ends.
In-person space for the closing capstone is limited, so accommodations should be booked early. Tuition for the in-person version of the closing capstone is included in the online program fee; participants simply book accommodations and pay for room and board.
Sri Sukta Sadhana Immersion (Stage 1) is an important preparation for future group practices, including Sri Sukta Sadhana Immersion (Stage 2), Maha Sri Yaga, and Prajapati Yaga.
