We invite you to step into a deeply transformative retreat at Pachamama Sanctuary, set among the peaceful forests of Maine just outside Portland.
This immersive experience is guided by our experienced Medicine Carrier, Leandro, and supported by the powerful musical medicine of Katrina and Matteo of MattKat / Freedom Family Band. Their live music flows through the ceremonies and integration spaces, helping create a sacred and supportive container for healing and spiritual exploration.
Whether you are seeking emotional healing, spiritual connection, or greater clarity on your life path, Pachamama Sanctuary offers a safe and nurturing setting to journey inward and connect with the wisdom of the medicine.
During the summer months, ceremonies are held outdoors in our cozy sanctuary space. Gathering together beneath the open sky creates an intimate ceremonial atmosphere and supports a grounded, deeply connected experience with Pachamama and with yourself.
Two Ceremonies Guided by Leandro:
The core of the retreat includes two evening ayahuasca ceremonies, guided by Leandro and accompanied by the live musical offerings of Katrina and Matteo.
With years of experience working with the medicine, Leandro holds the ceremonial space with deep care and presence. Participants are gently supported through powerful experiences that may open the door to emotional release, profound insight, and spiritual connection.
Sunday: Integration & Embodiment
After the ceremonies, Sunday is devoted entirely to integration. Participants choosing the 3-day retreat will depart at 11AM.
The rest of the day offers space to rest, reflect, and begin integrating the insights received during ceremony through gentle practices such as group sharing circles, meditation, breathwork, and time in nature.
Integration is an essential part of the journey, allowing the teachings of the medicine to settle and unfold in meaningful ways.
Optional Extended 5-Day Experience
For those wishing to deepen their journey, participants may stay for two additional days, Monday and Tuesday, for an additional $500.
These extra days offer a unique opportunity to move further into integration, connection with nature, and embodied healing practices.
Monday: A Day Immersed in Nature with an additional Plant Medicine ceremony
Monday is spent fully immersed in the forest and natural surroundings of Pachamama Sanctuary.
Through a guided day of integrative practices during ceremony, participants are invited into deeper connection with nature, themselves, and the group. The day may include:
This day often serves as a powerful bridge between ayahuasca ceremony and everyday life. It is deeply heart opening.
Tuesday: Closing Integration
Tuesday morning brings one final opportunity for reflection, sharing, and grounding before departure.
Participants gather for a closing integration circle before check-out, allowing the retreat to come to a thoughtful and supported completion.
Participants are provided with comfortable, simple accommodations designed to support the ceremonial process.
Standard accommodations include a comfortable memory foam mattress with a blanket and pillow lovingly prepared for you. This becomes your personal resting space for both ceremony and overnight sleep.
Semi-private room options are also available, with twin or full-size bunk beds in shared rooms. These rooms offer a cozy environment for rest and may include a mix of participants rather than being separated by gender.
All meals are included and prepared in alignment with traditional ayahuasca dieta guidelines, offering simple, nourishing foods to support the body throughout the retreat.
The real journey begins after the ceremonies, as you begin to integrate the insights and lessons from your ayahuasca experience into everyday life. To support this essential process, Pachamama Sanctuary offers unlimited online integration sessions at no additional cost.
That means whenever you feel called—whether days, weeks, or months after your retreat—you can join virtual integration sessions to continue your healing and growth journey.
Integration is an important part of the healing process, helping you make sense of your experiences and align them with your personal path. Our community of past participants and facilitators is here to support you whenever you need guidance, clarity, or connection.
At Pachamama Sanctuary, your safety, comfort, and spiritual well-being are our top priorities. Our retreat center offers a calm, secure environment where you can surrender to the healing power of ayahuasca, knowing you are in capable and compassionate hands.
From arrival through the close of the retreat, you will feel supported by our team and the loving energy of the Sanctuary. We maintain a high standard of care, including pre-retreat medical screening, to help ensure the experience is safe for each participant.
Our retreats are intimate, small-group experiences that create a close-knit community where you can feel comfortable opening up and sharing your journey with others. Many participants form lasting bonds during their time with us, finding connection and support from fellow seekers on a similar healing path.
Whether you are joining for the first time or already have experience with ayahuasca, Pachamama Sanctuary welcomes people from all walks of life. We believe everyone deserves a space to heal, and our community is built on love, respect, and acceptance.
