Silence, meditation, horses, and a profound sense of inner peace come together in this five-day retreat designed to restore and nourish from within.
Time spent with Katherine and the gentle therapy horses Yogi and Amber is described by guests as deeply moving, calming, and unforgettable. Many speak of feeling safe, connected, and held throughout the experience, with the quiet space allowing them to soften, reflect, and reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way.
The purpose of this silent retreat is to offer rest, peace, and deep nourishment. You will be met with loving connection from the horses, grounding and delicious meals, emotional warmth, and a quiet environment that supports inward reflection and gentle healing. From this stillness, a deeper sense of authenticity, boldness, and creative courage can begin to emerge.
Why silence?
Silence creates space for the labels, reactions, and expectations shaped by others to fall away. In that stillness, the mind becomes clearer, like calm water, allowing you to see more honestly what is present in your life. Without constant external input, it becomes easier to notice what needs attention, what may be holding you back, and where growth is ready to happen.
As the noise settles, what lies beneath can begin to surface. Silence offers the chance to feel, release, and heal in a safe and supported way, opening the mind toward peace, joy, love, compassion, and creativity.
Experience the magic:
The retreat also includes a thoughtful rhythm of guided meditation, time with the horses, and spacious moments for rest. Each afternoon meditation begins with a focus for contemplation, supported by readings and poems. You may choose to sit quietly in the paddock, on the beach, or among the trees, while Katherine leads the Meditate with Horses sessions with care and attention to safety.
The itinerary
Please note that the schedule may shift slightly depending on the weather. If it rains, outdoor sessions will move indoors.
You arrive on Sunday evening to settle in and prepare for silence. The opening gathering covers practical details, including housekeeping, meals, timing, and any concerns about communication, medication, or diet. Each day then follows a simple rhythm, guided by the gentle sound of a bell.
