The Whisper of the Jungle and the Awakening of the Self
Sacred medicine as a universal bond
Healing is not found in a bottle; it emerges at the sacred meeting point between humanity and the Cosmos. At our school within the Flower of Life Ayahuasca Healing Center, we honor the TSENTSAK, the electric current of divine light that moves through the soul’s meridians. When this energy is blocked, the body weakens; when it flows freely, harmony is restored. True healing is not simply the absence of pain, but a return to balance with life as a whole.
Guardians of transformation
Within ceremony, ordinary time fades and we align with the pillars of creation:
Warrior of light
Becoming a guardian of medicine at Onan Yatishovo is a lifelong commitment. During a two-year immersion in the Peruvian jungle, the student moves beyond observation and becomes a bridge:
This six-week Shamanism and Healing course in Peru invites participants into a deep journey of purpose, expanded perception, and traditional Amazonian medicine. Rooted in the wisdom of indigenous practices, it offers an opportunity to explore shamanism, sacred geometry, and the healing power of medicinal plants.
Led by Master Shamans from the Shipibo lineage, with more than 30 years of experience, the program includes teachings on icaros, the sacred songs used in ceremony, as well as the methods passed down through generations. The course is designed for those who arrive with an open mind and open heart.
Upon completion, participants receive a certificate in Amazonian Shamanism. The course also includes a Kambo administration workshop, knowledge of medicinal plants, jungle expeditions, support in creating floral and medicinal baths, and guidance in crafting your own ayahuasca brew. The program is limited to 8 spots and includes limited internet access in the dining room area.
Total cost: $5,999.00 USD
Not included: massage therapy ($40), transportation from Iquitos to the Ayahuasca Healing Center for flight delays, missed connections, or unscheduled pickups on the day the retreat begins, and some personal and practice items such as Florida water, tabaco or mapacho, and pipes, which may be brought by each participant or purchased at the center.
Icaros are sacred songs sung by the curandero during Ayahuasca ceremonies. They support healing, open visions, and help participants connect with the energetic body and the flow of life. Practicing these songs can strengthen intuition, awaken the third eye, and deepen communication with nature and spiritual guides.
Detoxification is central to shamanic practice and supports balance in the body’s internal systems. The course provides nutritional guidance to help prepare beneficial diets that support gut health and overall well-being.
The purge is a cleansing process that helps remove what is heavy, toxic, or unnecessary on both physical and spiritual levels. In Amazonian medicine, it is traditionally supported by purgative plants such as Chacruna, creating a fuller cycle of healing.
During ceremony, participants may experience visions that unfold beyond ordinary time, where past, present, and future appear at once. The experience is approached with mindfulness, intention, and respect for the interconnected nature of all things. Throughout the process, the Maestro-Shaman works closely with each participant, guiding the cleansing of energetic centers on auric, physical, astral, and mental levels.
At the close of ceremony, the apprentice chants the Arkana of protection to help shield participants from outside influences. The shaman then offers the final melody and protection icaros, creating a safe and harmonious ending to the experience.
Registrations are subject to a refund and cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 24 hours are eligible for a refund minus any commission, transaction, or conversion fees. After 24 hours, no refunds are issued.
If you cannot attend, please notify us at least one month before the start date. In that case, a credit for a future retreat or a transfer to a friend or family member may be arranged, with a 10% fee applied to the total retreat payment.
If you leave the retreat early, no refunds or future credits will be provided.
The center operates independently and is not affiliated with government institutions or the state. Upon completion, participants receive a diploma confirming their participation and the practices completed at the center. The shaman reserves the right to decide whether to continue working with any participant based on behavior and adherence to center policies.
This is a serious and comprehensive program that requires discipline and commitment.
